With the Covid-19 pandemic on the rise, one would fully expect a medical/surgical facility to practice strict CDC recommended guidelines, with the health and safety being priority for the patients. Instead, this facility did not do the following correctly: No face masks required, no social distancing, no shield between the receptionist (who wore no mask) and the patient, and after I said something about the lack of masks, the two front desk personnel put on masks, but kept whispering to each other, and looking over to where I was sitting. Worse yet, when I brought these issues to the Doctors’ attention, his reply was basically “It’s a personal choice.” I should have walked right back out the door, instead of endangering my safety.
