Mr. Christopher L Marquart

Dr. Marquart was nice and good bedside manner. However my surgery he did on my lower back (S1-L5) area has given me twice the amount of pain as before my surgery. Before i would have back problem if i over did it, now a year later I am experiencing constant pain at levels of 6-8. Sometimes I can't even get out of bed. When I did a follow up with Dr. Marquart he said everything looked fine in the x-ray and MRI. I say BS. Me personally would not recommend him. And YES i have done the therapy, pain clinic for shots and RF which NONE has provided any form of pain reduction or relief. Dr. Marquart was nice and good bedside manner. Because he held me with my lower back nothing in the world with surgery is perfect but he makes me almost like myself again and he’s easy to talk too

So very pleased with Dr. Marquart. He is very thorough, very informative. and the Office Staff is wonderful as well. I am satisfied with the outcome of my anterior cervical fusion and while I still have some pain it's nothing compared to before surgery.

Dr. Marquart save my 89 year old fathers life November 2017 by removing a large subdural hematoma. Today my dad is back home and fully functional thanks to Dr. Marquart’s surgical skills and judgement. He was very honest and compassionate.

This doctor I would not recommend to anyone. He did a spinal release on me in 2015 and I had all kinds of trouble for 2 years after the operation. He lied right to my face and told me everything was o.k. He refused to do a Mylogram which was suggested by his P.A. and the other doctor in his practice. He discharged me and sent me to the pain clinic again. I was sent by my family doctor to another doctor at Mercy who did order the Mylogram and we found out my spine was still tethered. I was referred to University of Michigan where I just had a 6 1/2 operation to release the tethered spinal cord and clean up the mess that Marquart made of my spine. He is liar, a torturer ( not my words, another doctor I saw told me that ) and he stole 2 years of my life using a cane and a walker and physical therepy and injections, etc. that never helped me because the surgery he did on my back was all screwed up. I now walk with no additional help, feel better than I have in over 2 years and have no additional problems. He is a LIAR and beware, he and his staff will screw you over!!!!!! He is the best Dr to go to in Muskegon been with him for many years pleasant friendly experience thank you all for the many years of services

He did my mom's neck surgery he was very professional and kind. Her surgery was over 4 hours long and he had the nurse call me after 2 hours and give us updates.

I has my first back surgery from him at 16. It was a very good Esperance. The second one I just had was just as good. I should be completely paralyzed from my hips down. Thanks to his quick thinking I can walk with some aid from a cane.

I implore you to stay as far away from this doctor as you can. After incurring double digit malpractice cases in W. Virginia, losing almost all of them to the tune of millions of dollars. He operated on my neck which got horribly infected. This is not the crime, the crime was telling me it was healing nicely for 5 months. The infection had actually now entered my spine which a plastic surgeon had to clean up. My regret was not suing him and having his license removed. NO PERSONALITY!

I have had to have two surgeries with Dr. marquart! The second surgery was because dr. Marquart didn't do the first one correctly! I have chronic pain, and he managed to mess my hip up and neck, and I still struggling after the second surgery! He has a bad ed side manner, and doesn't answer questions or have a plan for his patients before he cuts them open. I should have went into GR.

Please do your self a favor and don't go here. His bed side manner is not to be desired which is fine with me if my rutine surgery went ok. Well surgery didn't fix my issue it only made it worse. Now at my young and I can't feel my leg other than the chronic pain and stabbing hip pains. To make things worse the office staff doesn't have a clue what their doing. They don't on get back to you, their rude, they dont fax papers they say they do. Please learn from my mistake!!! Go to GR

He is very nice and to the point...it is his staff that concerns me ..I was unable to get the things I needed from check out secretary after doctor said for her to do so...I guess the doctors have no say n these control addicts r running the show...disappointed in the way I was treated by staff

Dr. Marquart is an outstanding, personable doctor. He listens to you and really tries to get to the bottom of your problem instead of just doctoring your symptoms like most of the doctors. He has a wonderful, helpful staff including 3 P.A.'s and a very caring and helpful nurse. I have been to many doctors during my lifetime as I have not been in the best of health my whole life and I have many experiences with doctors, hospitals and doctor's staff. I cannot say enough good things about this entire medical group. They are all outstanding. Dr. Marquart is an outstanding, personable doctor.
