Dr. Christopher William Dana Heichel

My HERO. I am so grateful for his incredibly successful contact lens implant surgery. No issues, no problems. Surgery completed some 8 years ago. Only perfect eyesight. It’s STILL PERFECT. I wore glasses for 50 years with extreme astigmatism in both eyes. Near blindness.

Communications issues with his staff. Whatever faith I had with the upcoming procedure went out the door.

Best experience I've had with a doctor. Heichel is as nice as he is knowledgable. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything is the best it can be. Since he is in high demand there can be a wait for an appointment, but his kind assistant Ms. Parker always makes sure I can see him. Five stars well earned.

I experienced a life change with dr. Heichel and his staff the wait did not matter because I also see doctor KIKkwa as well. Speaking for myself I don't have a problem waiting at all because I know how well these two particular doctors are taking care of me doing my appointment visit my appointment visits are long which I appreciate a long appointment visit because I know everything I'm going through the process with the doctors trying to find out what is going on with my eyes. For 10 years I suffered with dry eyes and the last 2 years with red, bloodshot, irritated eyes that teared 24/7. My local opthalmologist had no idea what the problem was. Dr. Heichel diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He performed a conjunctival plasty with amniotic membrane transplant on each eye in June 2017. Today my eyes are beautiful! No more pain, bloodshot or teary eyes. They look and feel normal and I can wear contacts again! Dr. Heichel is kind, gentle, smart, loves what he does!

Dr Heichel has been our eye doctor for over 15 years. He is SMART, thorough, knowledgeable, patient, even though it is obvious he is overworked! He has "saved our eyes" on numerous occasions..my husband had cancer in his eye, I had a minuscule shard in my eye, my husband had cataract surgery in both eyes; couldn't have had a better ophthalmologist . Wait times are very long but we are willing to put up with that because we know that when it is our turn, he takes his time with us.
