I am going to have my knee replacement surgery in the end of April. Before seeing Dr. Boone, I saw probably six other doctors. Nobody so far compares to dr. Boone. I have lots of anxiety around my knee. His information about surgery is well organized and complete, so you know exactly what is going to happened before and after surgery. His team is extremely well organized as well. Dr. Boone is extremely smart, he processes and makes decisions in a split second. I've noticed that in my appointments how fast he processes information that the other human would read for little time. He is very honest, friendly, and humble at the same time. He takes his time to explain everything. I never felt rushed my appointments. In my opinion he is the best in the area. I don't think I would decide for knee replacement surgery if I didn't have a luck of finding dr. Boone.

I am a veteran of many surgeries. Dr. Boone is far and away the best surgeon I’ve ever gone to. He did a knee revision for me (by the way revision is simply a euphemism for VERY painful!) and I was so impressed that of course I went back to him for my hip replacement. Been seeing Dr Boone for a bit he did a R. Hip revision not as easy as Hip replacement. Now we are getting ready for L. Hip replacement . I totally trust Dr Boone and all his staff and like there new building

Dr. Boone came into the room and told my wife and I who he was. Shook our hands and introduced himself. We were both so impressed by his professionalism and so easy to talk to. He then went over my results and came up with a positive and easy to understand diagnosis and the repair for my knee. So we are signing up as Soon as his scheduler calls to set me up with the surgery. He went over all the process and Pt that I will do after the surgery. I feel very good and am moving forward.

Dr Boone is awesome! Office visits and surgery day he has great bedside manner and he helped calm my fears of a total hip replacement at 48 years old! 2.5 weeks post surgery and doing great so far. His staff is great. Thanks Dr Boone I can’t wait to run again!

I was referred to Dr. Boone for hip replacement from two trusted friends who recently had it done. So glad I did! Dr. Boone and his staff were prompt, kind and made me feel very well cared for. Only 5 days post-op but things are going great!

My visit with Dr.Boone was Great, I have been living a mediocre life since my accident, in 2 yrs , I have seen other doctors, 2 surgeries that didn’t help. After my appointment with Dr Boone I have faith that he will do the surgery I have needed, and will do the best job! He spoke to me, explained everything, believed me when I told him I was in pain. I’ve been seeing Dr Boone for a few years. He is the best! I’ve had horrible luck with surgeons. 18 surgeries on one knee. Then I found Dr Boone. I finally have somewhat of a normal leg. Highly recommend him

I had a knee replacement on January 11, 2023. I went home the same day. I was on meds for about 4 days. After that I used Tylenol and added PT. I had my final appointment with Dr Boone today March 9 and am feeling wonderful. He is the best!! A few years ago he repaired my grandson who broke his tib/fib on the ski slope. He is awesome

Just at Dr Boone. I now have hope that my hip/ leg pain can be resolved. He listened he talked. I “get” it. Wish I had seen him before the other Drs.

Had a mako robotic assisted hip replacement with Dr Boone. Only 8 days post op, but the experience so far has been fantastic! Selected him over a couple other surgeons based on feedback from friends and talking with him. I had some very specific questions and concerns and he helped me decide on the procedure and implant type. His team is great. Procedure was smooth and quick. In surgery at 11:30, home by 4 (depends on your recovery from anesthetic). Recovery has been amazingly fast, already had my first PT apt today. The first 3-4 days are a little rough pain wise, but can be managed OK with meds.

As a new patient of Dr Boone, I would like to comment that I trust his diagnostics and treatment recommendation 100%. He is one of the few doctors that I have seen in many years that I don't feel the need for a second opinion. ProOrtho is the right place for me.

Thorough Clear Concerned Friendly

I just had my initial appointment with Dr. Christopher Boone, who was recommended by my GP. I have previously had 2 knee replacements & a left hip replacement (2016-17) and now need my right hip surgery. He reviewed my previous medical history & recent hip x-rays before coming in to meet me. He was very kind & gave me the option of a cortisone shot to see how it might help for a few months; however, after thinking it over, I decided that I would rather have the surgery done as soon as possible. I look forward to having my right hip replacement with Dr. Boone performing the surgery.

Dr. Boone is a remarkable guy. He listens, he’s skilled, and he has no ego (ergo, the listening). My knee pain was misdiagnosed for 5 years before I met him. He identified my problem during the first visit. I’d never see anyone else.

Dr Boone is the consummate professional. He sits down with you, describes what needs to be done and gives you an idea of what to expect. He called me the day after my surgery-what dr does that any more? In an age of very poor customer service, Dr Boone puts good customer service back into the mix.

Dr Boone replaced my right hip 2 years ago and now my left one is ready. Right hip is terrific now. He had a process from start to finish. As a patient you know what to expect. His team is supportive and understanding too. I’m going back for seconds and I highly recommend Dr Boone!

We discussed why an SI joint ablation was not a good solution for me (intense swelling, loose joint, likelihood of a re-sprain, ablation unlikely to resolve my issue, etc) and he told me that after the injections he would apply to perform a fusion. He then asked my children's names again and then left. Without my knowledge, he wrote a note in the file saying I was not a candidate because my pain was too far up. Of the many doctors I had seen, no one would have agreed with that! He was just arrogant enough to assume that it is impossible for a 36 year old mom with 2 kids to ha

When the diagnostics confirmed my SI joint to be the cause, he refused to do the surgery because I was "too young". I personally do wonder if adjacent segment disease is much worse than spending the next 25 years limping before I'm "the right age" for a fusion. Of course, the injections are painful. I can also suspect that this man has become arrogant and would rather not deal with a complex case like mine, especially because he is so "fabulous" he can suck up the low hanging fruit.

Dr. Boone has my utmost respect and confidence with regard to both of my hip replacement surgeries. He is sincere with his follow up, truly caring about my successful recovery.

I have been seeing Dr Boone and his team since 2017. He and his team are very knowledgeable, polite, easy to talk to and easy to ask questions to. They are always patient and never rush me while I’m asking questions or if I don’t understand something they take time to explain it to me. The team is always easy to get a hold of and they usually return calls within a day. Dr Boone has made me very comfortable about going into surgery, what to expect and what will happen. The hip replacement folder the team gives you is very informative and very helpful. This really is a great team to work with. I’m less nervous about having my hips replaced with this team and Dr Boone behind me, I know my outcome will be fantastic.

After seeing several doctors for a rare condition, I was told to see Dr Boone. Right away he made me feel like he cared, told me what would be my best option for both my hips and set up the first surgery. I had the first one in November and second one in February. Already I am walking better than I have in 17 months. My physical therapist is so impressed. Thank you Dr Boone. I finally feel like I’ll be back to hiking and biking soon.

Dr. Boone is a doctor who sincerely cares a lot about his patients and he is a doctor who listens and believes the patient and is willing to work to find a solution to whatever the patient is having an issue with. He is a very skilled and knowledgeable person and doctor but not afraid to admit he doesn't know what the solution is immediately. He's willing to do the tests and diagnostic work that needs to happen in order for him to get a better understanding of what the issue is. I recommend him highly.

There is no orthopedic surgeon more capable and competent than Dr. Boone. I wouldn’t have anyone else do my surgery than Dr. Boone.

Dr. Boone is fabulous and I’m so grateful for him. I saw him yesterday for my 3mo checkup for a SI Joint fusion surgery. It’s my 2nd surgery with him, I have done both of my SI Joint fusions and I am beyond thrilled with the results. When he told me last year that I was a classic candidate for these surgeries I burst into tears of joy. My physiatrist was not in favor of any surgery, even though as a 47 year old active woman I was getting “stuck” going from sit to stand position. Thankfully I found Dr. Boone and I have my life back. Living with SI Joint pain is miserable and avoidable. Go see Dr. Boone! Everyone in his office was very kind as well.

Visit was great. On time and very efficient. Dr. Boone clearly explained the issue I was having with left hip and proved a short tern and long term solution.

He and his team was Very attentive and was top of everything .

I arrived early and was promptly admitted. From there I was taken to get X-rays. After the X-rays I waited in a patient room and after about 15 minutes Dr Boone entered the room and went over my X-rays . He also did a thorough review of what I could expect after the hip replacement and things I needed to be aware / careful of once I left the hospital and was at home. He made sure to answer all my questions and when I left I felt / feel like I’m in good hands. I’m very confident that Dr Boone will do a good job.

I met with Dr. Boone for a hip condition that no other doctor knew to make of it. Dr. Boone took my pain seriously and provided a care plan that started with injections. When the injections didn't work, he made another suggestion which also didn't work. He called me personally to tell me that he didn't have any surgery he'd be comfortable doing that he thought would fix my problem. He didn't want to do a major surgery and then I come back 6 months later and still have the same pain. It was very hard to hear, because I had really hoped that he was going to be able to fix my problem and relieve my pain. But I have enormous respect for a surgeon who can say "I can't help you" rather than do an unnecessary surgery that could make the problem even worse. If I do ever need hip or knee surgery, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Dr. Boone.

I’ve seen 3 other doctors over the course of 7 years since a total knee replacement. Dr. Boone listened, knew the symptoms, looked at the images, watched me walk, understood the problem, and proposed a solution. Yea! I wish I’d met him several years ago!

After a previous knee surgery from another doctor and 20 plus weeks of PT, still in pain I saw Dr. Boone.. he took time to listen, take X-rays, and perform a procedure to finally allow me to bend my knee and free up some of my pain. He has told me I have a long journey ahead of me… I like his honesty and I know I’m in good hands with him. So nice to finally find a doctor that is caring, knowledgeable and treats his patients with respect.

Dr. Richard Boone is one of the very best Doctors / Surgeon I’ve had the pleasure in helping me overcome my knee arthritis ( bone on bone ) by doing bilateral knee joint replacement. Dr. Boone came highly recommended by my fellow Firefighter /Paramedic co-workers in multiple Eastside Fire Departments for both knee & hip arthroplasty. His name and reputation is the highest I’ve heard of. His knowledge, skills and abilities are excellent. His communications with me were caring, precise and professional. He cared deeply to want to help me have my best outcome. His staff was also professional and friendly. Dr. Boones’ staff of professionals were very thorough and positive. There were enough staff assistants you as the patient felt his office and assistants were plentiful and Dr. Boone had many resources available to assist his patients and him in every way. I keep hearing from other patients how pleased they are that they had Dr Boone do their surgery.

Dr Boone is a phenomenal surgeon with a top notch staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a hip replacement. The surgery went smoothly, the communication before and after was excellent, and my hip feels amazing.

This review is at week 4 after full knee replacement. I felt it was important to get past the first 2 weeks and experience some of the improvements in the weeks to follow before writing a review. I have had multiple sports related injuries requiring surgery, and have learned to do my research and choose wisely. I hit a home run in choosing Dr. Christopher Boone and staff. All my questions and concerns were answered, and I had a lot of them. Follow up has been great and I'm doing well. Excellent range of motion, little pain, and walking a straight line. I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Boone if you are considering knee surgery or replacement.

Excellent surgeon

Had a recent hip replacement. I only wish I had found Dr. Boone and his wonderful team sooner. He uses robotic surgery to speed recovery. I was out of the hospital the same day and back to golfing 6 weeks later!

Dr Boone and his staff are great. I had a total hip replacement done about 2 1/2 weeks ago. My recovery has been amazingly fast. I believe it is because of his skills and the anterior approach he used. My recovery may be different than some, I was out of the hospital the same day, off heavy duty pain Meds in three days, got rid of the walker in 1/2 week and off cane at 1 and 1/2 weeks. The support is great, all my questions answered right away. Don't wait to get this done if you need it. The pain in my hip was gone the first day. The only pain and tightness was from the incision (which is to be expected but less pain than my old messed up hip). Over all a great experience and when my right hip needs replacing I will not hesitate to go back to Dr Boone and his staff.
