Terrible physician who is uncaring and incompetent. Long story short, he told me nothing was wrong with my ankle. I don’t think he even looked at my MRI. I saw another physician who need to perform surgery. His misdiagnosis robbed me of months of recovery time. I was an athlete and continued training on a damaged ankle. And to top it all off, he was rude, dismissive, and left me waiting for over and hour and a half. I truly wish I had never gone to him at all.

I went to see Dr. Royer after I had a surgery in which the previous orthopedic surgeon said he could remove all of the hardware that he installed from my initial break. He left some hardware in, I got an infection, and that Dr did not take me seriously. Dr. Royer’s care, compassion, and concern for the situation have been ideal. He treated the infection, responded in a timely manner to emails, and ultimately, I needed to have another surgery due to complications from the previous doctor. The surgery was amazingly smooth, professional, and Dr. Royer easily removed the hardware I had been told was previously not able to be found. I couldn’t recommend him more if I tried. I trust him, his experience, and his care choices implicitly.

Terrible experience. Not only could he not figure out what was wrong with my foot after an x ray and an mri, but he left me in the room for 2 hours. It must be a common thing to wait that long as someone else on here complained about the same thing. Don’t go see this doctor.

Dr. Royer is an exceptional surgeon. Another surgeon in the area operated on my foot twice and both operations failed with non-union and hardware breaking. Ultimately my arch collapsed and one of the screws popped out of my skin. Dr. Royer calmly and thoroughly explained his surgical plan to me and did exactly what he said he would do. His willingness to stick with me throughout the ordeal was extraordinary. Plus he is caring and understanding.

Terrible physician. Laughed at me about a severe injury and told me I was fine. Turns out, I wasn't! I had surgery 3 weeks ago with a wonderful podiatrist. I wish I had never taken Dr Royer's advice as he robbed me of months of recovery time. I was in so much pain and swelling but trusted him. Even the doctor who performed surgery could not believe that Dr Royer said I was fine based on my MRI. Also, I waited over an hour and half for an appointment that lasted less than 5 minutes.

I went to have an old injury checked and the doctor advised to get an ankle bracelet. The office advised that this will be covered @ 100% by Insurance and also that the cost is not more than $35 which I was asked to pay right away. 1 month later I got a bill of $140 (additional) for that bracelet. On amazon the same (ASO bracelet) is $26. Upon calling the office, they acknowledged the mistake and also that there were 3 other similar complaints. Still I got a bill for $70 !?
