Excellent physician. Very thorough with examination.

I have been a patient of Dr. Christian Nwankwo for over 20 years. I left and came back. I used not to like the long wait. After a while, I realize why he takes so long. I start to plan my day accordingly whenever I need to see him. The attention he gives to each patient makes the wait worthwhile. He is knowledgeable and skills in his area of expertise. I frequently call him a therapist. He listens to each patient's concerns. I recommend Dr. Christian Nwankwo because he is a caring, skills, knowledgeable, and concerned doctor. This doctor was horrible and I will not go back. I was treated by him and he was very rude, not knowledgeable I had to diagnosis myself and tell him what treatments were available. He did not know what he was doing and made my problem worse. I do not recommend going to him.

The doctor is horrible he is rude and dose not know how to talk to patients I suggest you to not bother going to this place and if you are a current patient please change your primary care I will never go back after he disrespected me.

I had an appointment for 1pm & still wasn’t seen and it was 3:30pm. I had left because I have to work just like everyone else. I asked the receptionist to ask Dr. Nwankwo for my paperwork and he laughed. Dr. Nwankwo is very disrespectful and the best doctor they have is Dr. Fred.

Dr Christan Nwankwo is a renowned medical practitioner who takes his time to understand his patients and prescribe the best appropriate treatment possible, I can understand people get frustrated about the wait, but once it gets to your turn you get the same treatment the last person got. which is the best care. I have been to a lot of other doctors where they want to get you in and out and would not have the patience to listen to your questions. so if you want good health care and a doctor that listens to your questions and address them please go to this practice. If I could give negative stars I seriously would . These people are horrible all around and extremely rude . I have been waiting for my daughters medical records THAT I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR , for 4 months now . And because they wouldn't see my daughter when she had an infection , she has more health issues . Do not go here .

There is an extremely long weight time for everything! There is a lack of communication as well. If you want a health form to be filled, you have to constantly remind them in order for things to get done.This would in turn delay my time to get my health form in to jobs and schools and other institutions.

My daughter was born at 24 weeks she is 11 years old now with no medical problem dr C and Dr anella have been great I recommend her to my friends. They are also my other two kids doctors

Please allow me to write a review and express my profound feelings and thoughts about Dr. Christian Nwankwo, the medical Doctor of Capital primary Care, INC. and Clinical Assistant Professr, -College of Medicine. Admittedly this will not be a subjective view of this fine gentleman , but the view of several other personalities, both employees , senior officers and patients of both Hospitals at Gaithersburg and Hyattsville as well as well as his acquaintances who who have come across him over the years . To be exact, I have known him for more than ten years. Dr. Nwankwo is not only a medical Doctor, but a kind , warm and understanding person who can make a patient feel well without touching any medicine. He is also able to combine such humane and humanitarian dispositions with the highest level of professionalism.This is not only my personal view but a view expressesd by almost all who know him as a friend and as a medical Doctor.He has a tremendous sense of fairness and balance. Dr. Nwankwo knows exactly when and how to make a patient feel at home, how to make a patient feel comfortable and feel cared for .I have travelled far and wide and have met so many medical personalities, Good and caring doctors , But good always give way to better and Doctor Nwankwo , the gentleman doctor is by far better. No doctor has ever pleased me as Dr. Nwankwo.He and his staff made me feel like a prince, cared for like a Mom cares for her baby. Interacting with doctor Nwankwo in the patient room is like taking the perfect medication for your illness.. When I left the clinic, I felt so good and cured and never felt I needed any medicine for my illness.. His counselling and pleasant attitude was more than any medicine . I have no doubt that Dr. Nwankwo"s genteel approach to the concerns and interest of both his stafff and patients has worked well to the interest of all. Capital Primary Care Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD. is awful. Visited Christian Nwankwo for a quick check-up. Took over 2 hours for them to get me into a room with him (even with an appointment), just to have him try to reschedule me for a full physical. Like I'd ever go back there again... The office was very dirty and disorganized. The employees were terrible; heard them bad mouth other angry customers and was told "just a few more minutes" enough times to piss me off as well. This is one of the most unorganized doctors I have ever seen. Let me start off by saying they lost my medical chart; the whole thing since I was a newborn (I transferred from Cecilia Nwankwo)!! I ask to speak to the manger but he seems to always be unavailable. Second, if you make an appointment expect to be in the waiting room NO less than one hour. Third, you (the patient) will have to be the one making follow up calls on any blood work or things like that. They are very unprofessional and have horrible customer service. I just took my four year old for her shots. The first visit to this doctor took 3 hours to be seen out of the waiting room. This visit, after 45 minutes of waiting, we're put in a room with a nurse who barely speaks English. She tries to argue that we're not getting shots today because they have an office policy of children over 3 have two visits for shots, one for blood work and one for innoculations. Great, so not only does my child have to be tortured, but they get it twice (not to mention they get two co-pays from me). I convince her it would be a really good idea to not make me have to come back to the office twice and she concedes. Then she sneezes on my kid right before she gives the shot. Screws up the blood work by doing the needle wrong and causing my girl a lot of pain. Then tells us we have to give a urine sample, after you spend 45 minutes in a waiting room with a four year old, believe me, they have already gone to the bathroom. Unprofessional to say the least, and then to top it all off, we did not even get to talk to the doctor. Avoid at all costs.
