I have been a patient of Dr Pavlatos for several years. He did a knee replacement 3 years ago and I never had a problem. Last year a hip replacement with Dr Schwartz and this year, a broken ankle treated by Dr. Vora. Each Dr. was great! I would recommend IBJI to anyone who has a problem. I know it sounds like I'm prone to surgeries but rheumatoid arthritis and an accident were responsible for these injuries. I have been a patient of Dr Pavlatos for several years. Doctor Pavlatos and his team are excellent and made me feel so much better.

Dr Pavlotis took the time necessary to address my knee issue as well as answer another question. This office functions well without any overly long delays.

Excellent experience! Dr. Pavlatos was professional, efficient, and a hoot to talk with! Took care of my knee in one visit!

The front desk was very nice and the doctor was very knowledgeable.

IBJI was, is, and shall be the only place I will go to for all my bone and joint needs. We have a long and extremely successful history together. It started when my son broke his back and was assigned a Dr. Mardjetko for surgery. This man did an amazing job on him which led me to look into knee surgeons for myself after I had disagreeable exams with surgeons near my home. After hearing many glowing recommendations about Dr. Wayne Goldstein, I relied on him to reconstruct my failing knees. He was willing to do both knees at once when others would not. He was extremely good at keeping patients from having infections. Now, ten years later, my knees are great and going strong. In the meantime, my daughter has had a meniscus repair and I have referred four more knees (two people) and a hip to IBJI. I am now having my shoulder worked on by Dr. Pavlatos. I find him truly professional and caring and look forward to positive results. IBJI has numerous locations and is filled with doctors who are hugely talented and at the top of their games. I will use no other practice!! IBJI was, is, and shall be the only place I will go to for all my bone and joint needs. We have a long and extremely successful history together. Dr Pavlatos fixed my right knee about 4 years ago when I managed to tear my miniscus. Excellent results. Now my left knee was painful when pivoting on my feet. The doctor knew exactly what was wrong. Fixed it in one visit.

Fast, friendly & funny! The good Doctor drained my knee and gave me a cortisone shot. He kept me occupied with humor. The whole procedure took only about a minute. Next day my knee was nearly 100%! Staff was terrific too!

Dr Pavlatos is a terrific surgeon. He’s done both my knee replacements and my recent shoulder surgery all with success. He listens closely and responds to your questions and concerns. I highly recommend him

I walked into the I& B clinic in Libertyville without an appointment. I was able to speak to someone quickly and safely during COVID. I didn't wait long to see Dr. Pavlatos and arranged treatment for my knee. Everyone was very friendly and polite.

Dr. Pavlatos is an excellent doctor. This is the second time I have sought him for an arm injury. He is very knowledgeable, he is easy to communicate with, and has a great sense of humor. There are many other options available, but I feel confident using him, and recommend him highly.

Being in athletics my entire life I have been around many doctors. From day one I have found Dr. Pavlatos to be professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He is not a “surgery is the first and only” answer doctor. He tried other options and allowed me to make the decision as to when when it was time for knee replacement surgery. I trust him wholeheartedly and recommend him highly and enthusiastically.

Went in for extreme pain in my knee that has been getting worse by the day and no releif from anything. Dr. P varely looked at my leg and knee and listened to my pain, ordered an MRI. After calling to discuss what he saw and while I'm in tears, he asked "are you okay" and after expressing how much pain I am in, and how I cannot do my daily job he responded, "really?" After begging him for pain medicine, he still failed to give me any and said "Tylenol and ice..." Well, I have done that for weeks and nothing has helped. After saying PT would help with my tendonitit and cysts. I asked what we would do if the pain won't stop then. He then said he'll given a cortisone shot in my joint... That is the one thing I have been asking for but noooo I have to go through agony of PT before even feeling some potential releif in my joint like he offered. Horrible bedside manner and did not care one bit I was in horrendous pain and sobbing that I will lose my job if I can't get this better. He didn't care. Dr. P is a great doctor and person. His bedside manner is second to none. He is caring and considerate in his attention to his patients. Great sense of humor. More importantly is his ability to help you with your problem. Dr. P makes you feel comfortable automatically with his knowledge and wit!

I tore my ACL and meniscus while playing soccer and was able to get an appointment the day after I called. Dr. Pavlatos was very knowledgeable and attentive, with a good sense of humor. Ordered an MRI, diagnosed me within the week and scheduled my surgery with him at Hawthorne surgery center. During this time, we had a cancer scare in my family (which would have caused me to delay my procedure). Dr. Pavlatos and his team were very understanding, and didn’t require me to cancel early, giving me up till the day of the surgery to postpone if need be. It turned out not to be cancer, and when I showed up with my wife at the surgery center, Dr. Pavlatos shared his delight with me and my wife at the good news. I was pleasantly surprised he remembered that detail, and I believe it shows a level of care for patients that isn’t that common. The procedure went well. Dr. Pavlatos explained exactly what he did, at the hand of pictures during the follow up appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Pavlatos for a similar injury as mine!
