Without his incredible care, and skill I would not be alive to write this! I had come to the ER for stomach pain, turned out my bowel had ruptured and following 7 hours of surgery and 3 weeks in a coma, and 7 weeks In the ICU I survived. I have nothing but praise for an incredible surgeon. His skills and the staff at Providence Hospital Olympia brought me back from edge of death.

My husband had unexpected G.I. surgery last April. Dr Griffith was excellent in every way. Surgery turned out great. He has a great bed side manner. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Griffith was very sweet and explained my situation in language that was easy to understand. He understood my humor and made me feel at ease. He emotes confidence in his skills and knowledge. All of this made a truly positive impact on my surgery and follow up care.

My husband had a colon resection by Dr. Griffith, due to severe diverticulitis (with a small rupture before). He did a fantastic job on my husband's surgery, but as a family member who was worried, I have to say he gave me more care than I ever expected! His bedside manner with us and my husband was so appreciated!! I was with my husband for the follow-up appointments too, and he was so appreciated! Husband said he wishes Dr. Griffith could do every surgery we would ever need. I agree.

Dr. Griffith was extremely kind and made me feel at ease when having to have an unexpected surgery. I am so happy that he is the doctor that was working that evening. Surgery went just as he explained and was successful.
