Pleasant visit

The office staff and doctor were friendly and professional.

Probably the best physician I have ever met

Dr.Hahn performed open heart surgery on me replacing the aortic valve 12-13-2021 I received outstanding care and Dr. Hahn is truly A STAR SURGEON he, and his staff are the very best. He is a very excellent surgeon, coupled with such great care, compassion and all while having a bedside manner second to none. If you demand the BEST Dr. Hahn should be your choice. I thank God for Dr. Hahn's outstanding skills.

Dr. Hahn is professional, very caring , took his time explaining everything to me, he is a wonderful Heart Surgeon.

My visit was a very warm and caring visit. The receptionist was very nice and caring. Margaret was awesome and was there for me with any questions. Dr. Hahn was very concerned and thoughtful about my issues and explained all of my concerns and answered my questions and explained what was going to happen. The visit was very nice.

Dr. Hahn did a very good job of explaining my options for valve replacement. He was very easy to talk to and I feel fortunate to have him as my surgeon.

I was very impressed with Dr. Hahn's bedside manner. His straight forward approach instilled confidence in me. He covered my surgery very well. I feel I know what to expect and I'm knowledgeable enough to make intelligent decisions. I feel comfortable in having him as my Surgeon.

We had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Hahn and his team. He was very open about the procedure that will be necessary down the road, but he felt that, until I have more symptoms, it was not necessary at this time. He also explained the process for getting to surgery. We (myself, my husband and our daughter-in-law who accompanied us and is a nurse practioner) were all very pleased with the information conveyed and the warm way it was given. I will feel very comfortable when the time comes to have any surgery.

My experience was open heart, bypass surgery done by Dr. Chiwan Hahn. I rated the group as “5” not because every member was perfect, but that the key individuals I dealt with were so informed, skilled, experienced, responsive, respectful, and humble that their actions more than compensated for any annoyance I experienced in the group’s care. Aside from being well known in the Richmond area as a particularly careful, insightful, concerned, thorough, and detailed planner, Dr. Hahn’s decades long experience comes with a higher success rate than the national average, and his “beside manner” tops that of nearly all of the medical specialists I have met.

Dr, Hahn and his staff delivered superior health care to me in a very professional manner that inspired confidence from diagnosis, through surgery and on into recovery. The support staff was extremely responsive in following up. Appointments were on time and everyone was upbeat.

I found my relation with Dr. Hahn to be extremely satisfactory. Dr. Hahn was brief and to the point in describing my condition and choices before me. The resultant aortic valve replacement by catheter went perfectly. My condition is remarkably improved. I would recommend Dr. Hahn to anyone requiring heart surgery.

Dr. Hahn's staff was friendly and accommodating. There was an issue with their location so I was late to my appointment. They did not require that I reschedule and even fit me in the same day to have an echo done. Dr. Hahn spent more than ample time with me going over my status and plan for moving forward. I found him to be quite warm, knowledgeable and approachable. I was very impressed with both Dr. Hahn and his staff!!

Dr. Hahn is an outstanding surgeon. He performed triple by-pass surgery on my heart in 1998. A recent catheterization showed the by-passes to be almost as good as they were when he did the surgery. He is also very good at explaining your condition and how he plans to correct the problem as well as what to expect after the surgery. Dr. Hahn takes the time to answer and explain any questions concerning your specific situation.

I can not say enough good about this Doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Caring, considerate and efficient in every way. I rate him a 20 on a scale of 1-10.

I met Dr. Hahn in the recovery room following a Heart Cath procedure that indicated that I needed a bypass operation. His professional manner helped calm my fears as he assured me that the operation was routine. At my request, Dr. Hahn performed the surgery just days later on what would have been his "on-call status" day off. I cannot thank him enough for that. Most importantly, 3 weeks later, I am feeling amazing well. The operation was a complete success. I will never forget Dr. Hahn.

I met with Dr. Hahn to consult for heart surgery. He took a lot of time with me to explain the options and did not rush me or make me feel like an inconvenience like other surgeons had. His demeanor is pleasing and his credentials are excellent.

My interview with Dr. Hahn was the highlight of my day. I am a caregiver, my spouse suffers from frontotemporal dementia since 2008. I withheld this information to determine the necessity of undergoing the TAVR procedure now or when symptoms occur going forward.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Hahn. He saved my life when things went bad. His skills and his professional attitude made the difference. I cannot say enough positive things about this doctor, but so glad he was there when I needed cardiac surgery. I know you would be in good hands.

Dr. Hahn was very thorough and direct. I like to know the issues and facts. I felt confident in him.

Dr. Hahn clearly explained the risks and rewards of alternative treatment options to me and my wife. He listened to our particular concerns and factor them into his explanations. He spent the time with us that we needed to process the information he provided us.

he's arrogant, but, dont you want that from the guy that opens you up,repairs, and seals you back together? you REALY want that...no warm and fuzzy from this DR. just the facts,plain and very simple speaking style
