Dr. Chih- Hao G Chou

I saw Dr. Chou regarding possibility of sarcoidosis. He was rude, overbearing, obnoxious, and would not listen to me. I tried to talk to him and explain medical history and he would not listen. My husband got up and left the office rather than speaking up and creating a conflict. We will never use Dr. Chou again.

He was awful. He doesn’t listen, he misdiagnosed me and when the true diagnosis was given he refused to acknowledge it. He would not help me. I would not send anyone to him.

I just left this doctor. He spent almost an hour with me. He asked me questions and listened to my answers and took notes on what I said. I felt like he really listened to me. And then we discussed what he felt were my issues. He never rushed, he never looked at the computer. I loved him and I am excited that doctors like him really exist!

I am former patient of Dr Chou's . He took very good care of me. He was very knowledgeable about Sjogrens.. My insurance changed so I had to go elsewhere.

I saw him almost a year ago for fibromyalgia and I found him rude, inattentive, and about as helpful as a dead man. Egotistical, listened to Nothing I said, answered None of my questions. I knew no more after seeing him than I learned on the internet. Would recommend him Never in a Million years!

Dr Chou is always very professional and thorough. He takes the necessary time to answer my questions and thoroughly explain my care plan.

I have found Dr. Chou to be an amazing listener and integrator of information, making him an excellent diagnostician. He’s also an exceptional physician, making clear my treatment alternatives and following up carefully. He is even a painless giver of injections and an all-round good person. I will definitely be recommending him to others!

I took my IDD brother to to visit Dr. Chou for osteoporosis treatment. Dr was rude, didn’t listen to our answers to his questions, put down our previous rheumatologist, and yelled at me because of the wording I used to describe my brothers ribs in chest x-ray. Dr. Chou ranted on and on about how he was a scientist and would not tolerate such a description. Will not see him again or recommend him.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Chou. He had his mind made up before he ever entered the room. He was arrogant and did not want to hear my answers to his questions unless they fit in his predetermined diagnosis. He basically said all the doctors and radiologist I saw previously misdiagnosed me. All this without lab or my X-ray results. He even raised his voice to me several times. I wouldn't send anyone to him and I left without finishing my treatment.

I was referred to Dr. Chou for Fibro. He told me that it was common and 15-20% of women had it. He then prescribed a medication that did me no good at all. I stopped taking it and found out that it was an antidepressant. After taking it for 90days, I spent 3weeks going through withdrawals. Now I have a good Rheumatologist who takes the time to go over my medications with me, because I now ask a lot of questions.

I have been dealing with chronic muscle spasms and muscle pain for over 9 months waiting to see Doctor Chou. He did ask a lot of questions but when I would try to answer him he would talk over me so I could not answer him completely. After asking questions he said you have fybro. He never even looked at blood wrk my pcp sent him! He just gave a script to me and said try this. It did not work and he does not care that it did not work. 3 different scripts later no relief. Dr Chou does not care

Dr. Chow always had a pleasant manner. He is able to answer the most personal questions about anything. This was very important to me. Dr. Chow is sympathetic to your pain issues, and for me, assured me that some troubling issues were not worrisome. I was fearful that I might have MS or Parkinson's. You will never feel rushed, although it is a busy practice. His staff is all very kind, patient and helpful. I would not go anywhere else.
