Dr. Chhavi Agarwal

We took our son to this office for the past 4 years for growth issues. While I would say that we were not always the greatest patients (had to move appointments) we ultimately did follow through the with the medicine and our appointments. Dr. Agarwal is a very nice and thoughtful doctor however her office staff does not take accountability for their mistakes which caused us to repeatedly waste time and increased the anxiety level of our son who is on the spectrum. First of all, they provided the wrong prescription for blood work a variety of times only to have to return to get the blood work redone. They sent my son to a GYN who was an hour away for an evaluation for an implant to only find out that she only serves female patients. We finally got to the right doctor for the implant to find out a year later after much blood work indicating that the implant was doing its job to find out that the implant was not in his body. The investigation to find the implant resulted in 2 sonogram appointments and one MRI where my son had to be sedated. We had issues getting his regular prescription as it was on back order. We called the doctors office to report this many times only to not get any calls back. Finally, the straw that broke the camels back was that they said they didn't take our insurance when the insurance website and the doctor's website both show they are in network for our insurance. While I hesitate to write these kinds of reviews, especially about a doctor, I do think our experience is indicative of a problem in this office that needs to be addressed. We hope others find the review helpful in working with Dr. Agarwal's office.

We saw Dr Agarwal for about a year and had a very positive experience. My son felt comfortable with her and she explained our treatment options and plans thoroughly. Her staff was always polite and professional and followed up with us when needed.

Very rude bedside manner. Went in for growth reasons and decided to say my child was severely morbidly obese and say feed her vegetables and water not juice, soda and cookies. She is a vegetarian child but she would have known how she eats and activities she’s in if she had asked and not assumed. Assuming, not taking proper information about pt history and being rude is not right especially in front of little children. Moving on to a different physician. Very rude bedside manner. Very poor bedside manner; very disappointed.

After years of visits of concerns pertaining to my child's weight and growth, nothing was accomplished. Only to be told that it was too late to do anything. She apparently isn't too invested because she spreads herself thin to try to accommodate more clients. What a major disappointment! She's going to tell you your child needs to eat a lot of calories. I have worked with Dr Agarwal and have referred many patients to her and found her to be an excellent physician and is very caring. Her office runs well with very nice and clean decor.

I’ve been coming to this practice already for about a year since my baby was a newborn. The doctor is a sweet and gentle with the babies. She will answer and give an explanation to all the questions you have.

Let me start out by saying that Dr. Agarwal accepts any child covered under the insurances that she accepts not just children with Diabetes 2. She is one of the most amazing doctors who actually has compassion for the parents going through these situations. She is amazing with the children and always has my daughter at complete ease, my daughter says she loves her doctor. When i first found out that my daughter has hypothyroidism, I freaked out and she broke everything down to me and informed me of all I needed to know followed by a hug as I was hysterically crying. She is amazing with a matching heart and couldn't be more proud that I have someone like her caring for my daughter through this! Thank you Dr. Agarwal! I love Dr Argawal,she is so amazing every tine we go to our appt, she always has a smile and is very knowledgeble, explaining in details the issue with my son.I would give her 10 stars!!

Completely ignored the reason I had booked the appointment and brushed off any questions I had. Felt super unwelcomed and that I was an inconvenience to her. Would not recommend or go back to this doctor.

I really liked her bedside manner with me and my daughter. She did extensive testing and sat and explained everything to me.
