Knowing that you have cancer is a scary proposition. My husband and I cannot hear very well so our son was given permission to help us listen on our first visit. Dr. Wendt is very kind and caring. We are so thankful to have have had him as our introduction to cancer.

The Professionalism & care from the Dr on down to every staff person in this office is so caring & supportive. Makes a trying time so much easier.

Dr. Wendt is wonderful. He's caring and concerned for your wellbeing. I'm happy he is my oncologist and trust his knowledge.

Excellent "bed-side" manner. Puts you at ease while thoroughly and systematically walking you through the issue and treatment. Very patient in answering questions and doesn't mind that you ask very specific questions. Up-to-date on latest literature, procedures and advancements in his field. Doesn't try to tell or sell you on a specific treatment but gives you the facts and treats you like an intelligent adult capable of making the best decision for yourself. It is rare to find such a high level of competence that doesn't have a corresponding ego with it. Instead, you will find a kind, intelligent, listening, funny, compassionate, and competent doctor...just what you need with this type of disease. Excellent "bed-side" manner.
