Dr. Charles Benny Lovelady

Several months ago, I was in the hospital with colitis due to an infection and an overall extremely ill feeling. This was a very frightening experience even for a retired nurse to go through. I requested Dr. Lovelady as a consultant to my case. It turned out that the infection was due to caring for my dog. Dr. Lovelady had already started the appropriate therapy even before culture results were obtained. His experience and knowledge as a diagnostician is what I believed saved my life!

He is a caring physician and a skilled general surgeon. The care he gave my father was exceptional. As a family member not located int eh community Dr. Lovelady always made the effort to make sure we were well informed of my father's health status until we arrived in the community. Dr. Lovelady also took the extra effort at connecting us with the home health resource after my father was transfered to convelescent care. He is a good man and a great doctor who really cares for his patients.

I recently had a Colonoscopy performed by Dr. Lovelady. From initial visit, prep and procedure was by far the best Colonoscopy experience I have ever had. The consultation was relaxed and informative with a complete new approach to the prep itself. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was with little or no discomfort... The day of the procedure, again was made "stress-free" by Dr. Lovelady and Staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Lovelady.

I would very much recommend Dr. Lovelady. I am so glad my primary doctor sent me to him. My family has a history of colon cancer . I was impressed he had went over all my records so he knew my concerns. It was the easiest colonoscopy I have ever had. He has a way of putting a person at ease. So glad I have found him.

Dr. Lovelady was excellent. He explained things to me and followed up to check on me. He addressed my concerns in detail and was very kind and caring. I was so happy and thankful for his quick response to my issues. His good care meant a great deal to me.

Friendly, informative, took time to describe the procedure (colonscopy) and his approach thereto. It is non-aggressive; I trusted him with my 'old colon'.
