Charles Robert Love

I filled out new patient paperwork in September of 2022 on their website and was contacted a week or so later by Alexis to be added to the waiting list to be scheduled for an appointment. I had called a few other places that had the same thing so I didn’t think anything of it. A few weeks later I received a call for an open appointment (the appointment was still about a month out) Alexis informed me that they had a $50 appointment fee and that my insurance would be billed after the appointment. I had been referred to another counselor and was waiting on a call back at the time so I asked Alexis if my $50 appointment fee would be refunded if I needed to cancel l, she assured me I would be refunded. I was able to start sessions elsewhere sooner than with The Growth Center so I called and canceled my appointment. I spoke with Alexis and asked her how I would be refunded she told me they couldn’t refund it using the card I paid it with that they would mail it and that it would take a month. I made sure she had my correct address. I have not received my refund, I’ve called and left multiple messages with April (their billing department and I have sent them a message via their website. They never answer the phone and nobody will call you back. Seems like a very dishonest business to me. I honestly wonder if they are even a legitimate business at this point.

Charles Love is extremely unprofessional. After speaking with me one time he wrote up a negative evaluation on me. He had spoke to my son’s father 9 times. It was very clear that he only spoke to my son about me. He was very clearly trying to build a case for my ex against me. He failed to even disclose any information regarding my son’s care to me. He only disclosed it to my son’s father. We have a 60/40 parenting schedule with me having the 60. Charles claimed he was meeting with my son in regards to coping with our divorce. Charles is far more concerned about what is happening between my ex and I than actually providing real care for my son. I would not recommend it to anyone! Charles Love is extremely unprofessional. I have recommended the Growth Center to several people I know. The staff is kind and courteous. My daughter has seen Charles for several years and our experience with him has been wonderful. He truly cares for his clients and wants the very best for them.

The staff & offices are warm and friendly. Charles Love is an phenomenal Therapist! He truly cares about the well being of his patients. He is very knowledgeable on the handlings of life's afflictions. Dr. Keeling is a true delight & goes the extra mile for her patients.

The growth of which I have experienced both personally and with my family as a result of consulting with Dr Love has been immense. His abilities to communicate and listen are equally superior as is his abilities to truly understand the path you may be on....

Dr Love has a special gift to be able to work with teens on their level. I think they open up a lot more to him then they would the average Doctor. He has great stories and ideas that the teens can relate too. Also the time he spends with the parents are so appreciated. He gives advise that will have you leaving his office with more strength than you had before you got there. Dr. Love has been a true blessing for our family!!!

We love Charles. He relates well to our son. He will have sessions with us as parents as well without our son. He makes him think, as well as us. We are so glad he has been our therapist for so long. It's important for consistency .
