Dr. Celina M. Nadelman

I was recommended to see Dr. Nadelman after being told I had a 10mm cyst under my skin near my right ear. Cindy, the very efficient receptionist took my call, made me feel very at ease and booked my appointment. Nobody wants to deal with a cyst that could be cancerous but I felt secure in knowing Dr. Nadelman (who was touted as the best) would figure out what to do. Dr. Nadelman does the work but she is guided to the exact area by Dr. Liker using a highly specialized medical device. She pierced the skin (it was not painful) and extracted a specimen for a biopsy. It seemed like it was all liquid and when I left there was no cyst remaining and the results were all negative…meaning no cancer. A real easy experience with a great ending. A giant “THANK YOU” to Cindy, Dr.Liker and Dr. Nadelman for making a stressful situation disappear.

Replying to your comments: It seems you have it extremely confused. Not only am I covered, I’m doubly covered. I was absolutely covered at the time of procedure. Not only was I covered, the procedure was PRE-APPROVED. I set up payments with the receptionist also, with my HSA while getting this handled. Since I am unable to talk to the receptionist without getting hung up on, it seems that it’s a no win. I’ve certainly tried... The biopsies went fine. My difficulty came when dealing with the receptionist who also apparently handles the billing. My insurance company approved the biopsies but for some reason Nadelmans office was unable to get the bill to them. I’m still dealing with this. I just got hung up on by the receptionist. I being neither rude or difficult. I was asking questions. This has all been unprofessional and too difficult. Dr. Nadelman and her staff are absolutely wonderful. The procedure was extremely easy and I was able to get preliminary results the day of my appointment and the final results in about two days! I highly recommend Dr. Nadelman!

I had a great experience with Dr. Nadelman when she did a Fine Needle Biopsy on my breast. She was very knowledgeable and kind and reassuring. I will go back to her in the future if I need another breast biopsy.

Am cash patient &agreed to pay $2000 fora thyroid nodule biopsy.Paperwork said the 3rd nodule is $900 &so on.I asked about this the desk said"It is $2000 for the first 2 nodules".I figured that made sense as you are already paying for the time,personnel in the room &the numbing.When in the room Dr. N said I needed 2 biopsies &although I couldn't afford it sounded important so I went w it.Turned out it was 4k.We were in the room 20min.The wording of "It is $2000 for the first 2" was misleading.

Lousy bedside manner. Refuses to answer questions after the visit. Calls are met with "call your rerffering doctor." The waiting room seems more like a massage parlor than a professional office. Considering her job is front line diagnosing serious issues you'd think there would be a bit more empathy. Just a lousy visit.

Dr. Nadelman seemed so knowledgeable and very attentive, especially to my questions, since I was a nervous wreck before the procedure.

Dr. Nadelman is an excellent doctor. She is very knowledgable and gave her patients great care. I have thyroid nodules FNA by Dr. Nadelman and she turned around and provides a complete report within three days. The procedure with Dr. Nadelman and the radiologist went smoothly and there is no pain during the procedure. Going thru biopsy procedure is extremely stressful and by going to Dr. Nadelman's office really helps because she can review the sample real time and make sure it is adequate.

The procedure went fine, but I was very sick after. However, my issue is how i was handled after. A $250 deposit is expected upon arrival of your appointment to protect the Dr. from not getting paid by my insurance. Not only did my insurance pay in full in less than 1 month,I paid and additional $800 the day of the procedure, so that I could have the maximum amount of nodules checked. Insurance only covers 2. I was told a month ago that the check was in the mail. Still waiting. No good.
