Dr. Ruetten cares so much and always works to find out how to fix what isn't working well. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Cathy is just wonderful. Caring, knowledgeable, friendly and works very hard to make sure you are getting the best care. Just a wonderful Doctor that you feel so confident going to with any health issue.

Dr. Cathy Ruetten is my primary physician among a team of specialists who treat me for my skin cancer diagnosis. She is very thorough in her check ups, recomendations, and diagnostic tests and I feel very confident with her treatment for my health and wellness.

Dr. Cathy Ruetten is brilliant and honest. She gives me the best care. Dr. Cathy connected me to the best cancer Drs. who have my cancer in full remission. She keeps me on my toes with my diabetes and all of the other ailments that comes with age and that taking daily medication keeps controlled. Best doctor (and nurses and staff) ever!!!

Excellent care.

Every visit I've had the doctors and NPs do their best to rush you through. Twice now I've been refused testing to rule out a possible medical concern I have without a reason. There is little care for the patient, they are more concerned with getting you through as fast as possible, but they don't mind wasting time having the nurse and doctor ask you the exact same questions within 5 minutes of each other. Every time. I will be searching for a new PCP. The only positive note I can give is that the nurses are always kind. Every visit I've had the doctors and NPs do their best to rush you through. My visit was for a Medicare wellness checkup. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ruetten as a great physician. She is kind, knowledgeable, on time, patient with questions, and has very good follow-up.

Got in with Dr Cathy Ruetten in my own Dr’s absence, she was more than happy to help me out & offered her solutions & told me to be sure to call back if I needed to.

Dr. Ruetten was so helpful and through. She took her time and communicated wonderfully! I felt I was in the best hands!

The doctor is refusing to fill my prescriptions I am bipolar and suffer from depression. I don’t recommend this doctor to anyone I will be changing my primary doctor to another doctor.

I have been a patient of Catherine A Ruetten's for the last twelve years. She has proven to be a doctor who listens to her patients and uses that information to help with her diagnosis. She is thorough, kind, intelligent and still maintains on-time schedules. I highly recommend her to all my friends.

I have been going to Dr Cathy for more than 2 decades. I appreciate her professionalism, courteousness, and caring. She listens to my concerns and involves me in my medical care decisions. I highly recommend Dr Cathy.

She took time to answer my questions and wasn't in a hurry. Very personable.

Very good visit we discussed my medications. We also discussed me emotional well being. She was happy with my bloodwork.

Always greeted with a smile and ‘how are you doing?’ Dr. Ruetten always takes time with me to answers any questions I have. She explains what the exam will entail for the visit and summarizes what she found and what follow up is needed. I feel confident in any of her suggestions and recommendations.

Dr. Cathy and her team are always timely and very interested in me and my health. She always listens. This summer, Dr. Cathy referred me for some tests and then pressed in for more even when results to those tests were benign. So thankful that she did--because surgery pathology showed malignancy. And now I am well on my way to health!

My visit with Dr. Ruetten went well. She took the time to talk with me regarding my concerns and answered questions. I would recommend her as your family doctor. My only concern is that she is no longer with Northwestern, as my choice for a hospital would be Kiswaukee.. She indicated that would not be a problem.

The first visit I felt uncomfortable. The second visit was extremely better. I really thought Dr. Ruetten was interested and compassionate. I felt good when I left.

Very professional and thorough.

I don't recommend her at all. She is very rud person all the time when I visited her. She need to learn how to be a doctor and a school kids teacher.

Caring doctor who took the time to explain in a way I understand. No question too sill or small. Highly recommend

Great doctor shows compassion for patients and does her best as she can to help with what patients need.

Dr. Cathy listens patiently and responds professionally. I had a chronic problem with my wrist which local and Rush orthopedists told me "to live with it". Dr Cathy gave me significant relief! I trust her & appreciate the way she cares for my well being.

For a cough that did not go away after 3 weeks, the doctor said it was common to have a cough for 8 weeks. Had to go through a bad cough for 8 weeks before getting the medication from my regular doctor that finally help get rid of it. What is even more ridiculous is that they did not tell me they changed from Tier I to Tier II for my insurance plan, resulting an extra $200 dollar deductible for the two visits. Been their patient for four years, it is really disappointing!
