Dr. Catherine Marie Hall

Beware...High pressure sales pitch! I have been a patient at Optical Gallery for about five years. Drs. Hall and Fain are covered by our insurance. My most recent complete exam was 7/19/19. The office notified me it was time to come in again in July. I did not check my records to verify---my fault. I had a complete exam with Dr. Hall on 11/13/18. In this six months Dr. Hall's patient approach considerably changed. What began as a pleasant positive greeting from Dr. Hall soon turned into a pressured negative experience. She had a fast-paced"speech"that took effort to catch all the info. At last I stated that I liked the monthly contact lens comfort vs. daily contact comfort (quite a bit more expense). With her arms crossed, Dr. Hall stated "she wasn't trying to argue." She then stated I was a candidate for cataract surgery which my insurance would cover and handed me a pamphlet. I suspect this was to cover the insurance explanation re: a six-month complete eye exam. Sad

Dr. Hall is an Amazing Doctor. Takes as much time as necessary to talk to you and explain everything in detail. She has a great grasp of how to treat issues such as autoimmune diseases and necessary eye care. Her staff is fast and friendly. I needed glasses quickly and their lab was able to get them ready very quickly, as promised, called immediately when they were ready. Had a question about new prescription eye drops and got a call back from a staff member immediately with great advice.
