Discussed my lab results outside my room with a doctor in training for everyone in the office to hear and had the nerve to ask me if I too heard her the 40 minutes I waited in my room. Said that the itching and swelling of my throat was because I was black. When I told her I had no allergies and I was still concerned, she asked me, â Well, what do you want me to do about it.â I was scared to go to the doctor after her carelessness and lack of concern for a black woman. I would not recommend her to anyone, but HIPPA.

I can't explain the one bad review that Dr Slack was given. But I can tell you that she saved my mother's life and gave her 10 more years she would not have had if Dr Slack hadn't caught her multiple myeloma so early. As a result of this extremely early diagnosis, my mother was able to get early intervention. Her oncologist said she lived longer with that disease than any other patient they'd ever had in their clinic. I believe she also saved my life when she noticed a lump on my neck during a physical, that I had not noticed. I had thyroid cancer. Once again, early intervention. She's very thorough, very friendly, is very intuitive and she listens to me, something many doctors do not do. I jokingly tell her never to move to another state, because then I'll have to move too. I trust her absolutely and would stake my life on her. I can't explain the one bad review that Dr Slack was given. I have never been to a doctor that was so bad, she does not care to help you she is there to be rude and make you feel worst about yourself. I would never recommend anyone to see her I have read many other reviews stating how horrible of a doctor she is. does not listen to what you have to say ( did wrong test), and take weeks to get anything going. worst experience I have ever had, worst doctor I have ever seen. Horrible
