I like Dr. Baxter-Raebe a whole lot. But my husband was in a serious car accident just two days after I came home from the hospital. Things were very difficult and friends took me to their home, which was out of Sheboygan. They went a few days later to get my mail, and I opened a letter from Dr. Baxter-Raebe, which said I missed my appointment and I should find another doctor. I just cried. I did contact her and she told me I had no excuse. :( I remember when she was in her old office and I showed up for a scheduled appointment. There was a hefty guy behind the appointment desk who said he could not find the appointment. He apologized and I made another appointment. I think communication and compassion goes both ways. I would really like to see Dr. Reabe again, but I am afraid to call her. I like Dr. Baxter-Raebe a whole lot. Started after rehab, still sober 3 years and counting. Meds are needed but I hope to get off them. She understands this is my long term goal and is not against it ???? In the meantime she is very inclusive when exploring needs as I tend to be needy with medication goals. Friendly and fair, highly recommend!

Never had any issues with Dr Baxter (Reabe). I've seen the other Dr at this clinic when Dr Baxter was out of the office and they were not my cup of tea . I've been seeing Dr Baxter for 3 to 4 years now and even though I moved further away, i still travel to see her out of preference.

Looking up the phone number for Dr. Baxter here on Google, I came across the reviews and noticed a 3 of 5 star rating and felt that this is totally wrong! 2 ratings one a 1 star and one a 5 star. There is a difference between a counselor and a Dr. Not to mention that mental health in my opinion, unfortunately is and never will be an exact science. Factor in that even though I believe we are all equal we all walk different paths in life and stumble it differently along the way. some can help themselves up from time to time while at times we need a little help. NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF HERE. Dr. Baxter has done a very,very, professional job any time i requested, or if someone I know requested her assistance. For reviewers reviewing, remember everyone situation is different hence the difference in ratings. For me, minimum of 5 stars for Dr. Baxter. I went with one of Dr. Baxter's patients to a counseling session and confided in Dr Baxter that I was concerned about one of her patient's behavior and she looked at me, laughed, and said "that's not cool". Two weeks later that patient was admitted into a two month long rehab facility. I felt like she didn't take my concerns seriously and she clearly did not care about her patient. It also seemed that she is not very educated, as this behavior would indicate a potential drug problem and Dr. Baxter did not address my concerns with her patient. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Baxter and I am currently looking into formally filing a complaint.
