Dr. Carolina Tanzer

I recommend Dr. Tanzer. She has addressed many of my symptoms and issues which has led to far more productivity at work. Her accommodating schedule has also been helpful.

Dr. Tanzer has been great. She didn't rush me, allowing me to fully express myself. Now I feel comfortable to open up. She has answered all my questions about treatment options. It's been easy to pick up where we have left off previous appointments.

Dr. Tanzer is not only an excellent psychiatrist but a great human being. She is very knowledgeable and always listen to her patients. I will highly recommend to anyone needing a good psychiatrist.

She canceled my TeleHealth appointment 8 minutes after it was supposed to start. Very unprofessional.

I had an initial telehealth appointment with Dr. Tanzer during which she prescribed me a new medication for a new diagnosis and scheduled a follow up. Then without any sort of explanation or contingency plan, she canceled my follow-up during which we were supposed to assess how I was reacting to the new medication. This is a textbook case of patient abandonment and extremely unprofessional behavior. Reporting to the medical board.

Dr. Tanzer rescheduled my appt twice in a row 1-2 days before my scheduled appt. I needed a refill right away, and she was listed as one of the soonest available doctors within 7 days when I first scheduled my appts with her. Each time (once in Nov 2020 and then in March 2021) she moved my appt down the line another week, which was well beyond my prescription schedule, leaving my at risk of serious withdrawal symptoms. She is a terrible and negligent doctor for not understanding and anticipating that her patients need to see her within a timely schedule. It is rude and disrespectful to reschedule her patients' appts that are scheduled one week advance and to essentially cancel them with less than 2 days notice. I will never schedule an appt with Dr. Tanzer ever again. She has created unnecessary hardships for me and now I'm scrambling to find another doctor and at serious risk of withdrawal symptoms.
