Dr. Tweed is the most wonderful, kind, caring doctor ever! She is so friendly, looks you straight in the eye when giving information, and always asks if you have any questions. She listens carefully and gives easy-to-understand directions and information. Her personality makes you want to be around her! I am so grateful that she is my oncologist!

I have been seeing Dr Tweed for 5 years.She is absolutely the best. She cares, she sees and hears me. Being diagnosed with breast cancer is very scary. However, she made it bearable by the constant compassion and education on what was happening to my body. All of her staff are as passionate and caring.

I, personally, love Dr. Tweed. From the very first appointment I had with her in 2018, up until the present, she has been kind, supportive and just so easy to talk to. She doesn't dismiss any concerns; she talks with you and is genuine. When she left AAMC, they tried to get me to move over to another oncologist at the facility, but I refused. I trust her that much to follow her to wherever she was practicing.

Whenever we were on HealthTele line, Dr. Tweed always smiles. She always assures me by calling my phone numbers in order to have relay service (ASL interpreter) in presence. She would repeat a question so to get the answer to match her question.

Dr. Tweed is compassionate and an expert in breast cancer oncology. I was terrified of chemo but it has been easy thanks to Dr. Tweed's management of my care. She explains things thoroughly & also asks me questions, really listens, & responds proactively. At my first appointment it was clear she had already reviewed my records beforehand & so she was able to spend the visit talking with me instead of reading & getting up to speed while I was there. I really feel like she considers my care & me as a patient for more than just the time that I am in her office, that she really thinks about my care plan & is providing me with the best possible solution in consideration of my overall well being. & she knows so much, & how to handle so many situations. Honestly, I have more trust & confidence in Dr. Tweed than I've ever had in a doctor, even though this is the scariest health issue I've had to face so far. I guess that makes me very lucky. Dr Tweed has been my oncologist since September 2015. She has been on top of my diagnosis for MBC since then. Her knowledge, compassion, experience, and intuitive ability to provide the quality care I need has given me confidence to live with my diagnosis. I was distraught when Dr Tweed and her group of oncologist were forced to leave Anne Arundel Medical Center. Thankfully, the group has found better accommodations which provide uninterrupted specialty care for me and others living with a cancer diagnosis in the Annapolis area. Dr Tweed has always given me sound and thorough medical care advice. She stays informed on current treatments and critical trials. Foremost, she empathizes with my day to day struggles due to life saving treatments. Her philosophy is quality patient care comes first. She is kind and caring. She is a wonderful, competent, caring doctor. On every visit she takes the time to listen and explain all my options regarding my situation. I could not ask for better care. It is horrendous that AAMC is replacing excellent physicians like her . We are just fortunate we have Baltimore Washington Hospital to use now that AAMC is lowering its standards.
