Dr. Clinkscales, his PA, Amanda, the x_ray technician and front desk staff all deserve 5 stars. I feel in such good hands there.

I recently had a trigger finger surgery with Dr. Clinkscales. It went absolutely perfectly with a full recovery and use of my hand in just a few weeks. Dr. Clinkscales is very conscientious and has a great personality for working with patients. I am returning shortly for a wrist surgery to fix my tendinitis.

Hands down (pun totally intended) Dr. Clinkscales is just awesome. Great communicator. Compassionate. Listens. Doesn’t rush you. I have had him for three procedures.

Dr Clinkscales is thorough. He spends a great deal of time with his patients. I have seen him for years and have been so pleased with the treatment. He did trigger release and carpal tunnel release surgery for me. Both had a fantastic result. Also, he is personable and very present with his patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. C has worked on both my hands and my wife’s wrist and we could not be happier with the care and results.

Dr. Clinkscales is the best orthopedic hand doctor in the area. He has many years of experience, his impulses are always right on, and he is a really good person. His medical assistants are great. Just beware of the front desk person. She can be a little tough.

Dr. C has been my hand specialist for 15 years; from removing a ganglion cyst, to helping with a broken thumb, and from a dislocated elbow to newly developing arthritis and tennis elbow. There is nobody I would trust more for my orthopedic care.

Excellent assessment of my problem. Treatment went very well. Not my first time to see Dr. Clinkscales. He treated my Grandson last year and he made a marvelous recovery! Highly recommend the doctor!!

Dr Clinkscales is an excellent surgeon and a kind caring doctor. He went above and beyond when my hand swelled with tendinitis after my shoulder surgery. The care from him and his team was outstanding and I was able to get out of pain and quickly recover from the tendinitis within a few days. I would recommend him very highly to anyone who needs an excellent hand and wrist doctor.

After about 10 visits to Dr. Clinkscales offices, including diagnosis, surgery and post-op therapy, my appreciation for his practice continues to grow. I’ve seen Dr. Clinkscales a few times over the past few years. He’s very knowledgeable and personable.

My initial appointment went very well. The office staff members were professional and personable. X-rays were taken and read promptly. Dr Clinkscales is warm and friendly and experienced in his specialty. I am an author, a writer, and I trust the use of my hands to his care.

Dr Clinkscales is the doctor we all hope to find ... professional, personable, a great communicator and an expert in what he does. My friends have told me for years how awesome he but I've never had hand issues before. After X-rays he explained my issues clearly and offered solutions.

I had the most pleasant, effortless visit with Dr. Clinkscales. While my steroid shot was not the most comfortable experience, I am looking forward to my follow up visit (for my second injection) just because he was so warm and comforting. And fast!! My trigger finger is already greatly improved after just 2 days. Would recommend Dr. Clinkscales a thousand percent. And the office staff was amazing as well.

Dr. CIinkscales is great in every way. He's friendly and caring, and he listened to my concerns and put me at ease. My carpal tunnel surgeries went smoothly and fixed my problems, one of which was severe. I can't recommend him highly enough!

As a pharmacist, I have interacted with many physicians, both as a patient and as a professional. Dr. Carlton Clinkscales is one of the best. He spent time with me to discuss all my treatment options. He has a fantastic reputation and now I know why. I would highly recommend the team at Hand Surgery Associates.

I have seen Dr Clinkscales 4 times for issues with my hands. Originally it was trigger finger problems with several fingers on both hands. A few injections solved most of the problem, but one finger developed other issues and we will do surgery on it soon. He and his staff have been very good to work with and keep me informed on all my options.

The whole staff was very friendly and courteous.

My right thumb was “clicking” and sometimes locking. This went on for about three or four weeks, and I asked my primary care physician what specialist I could/should see. She referred me to Dr. Clinkscales. I liked the physicians assistant who saw me. She assessed what was going on, and then Dr. Clinkscales came in to see me as well. I have “trigger finger” in my right thumb. Both the PA and the doctor explained the condition so I understood. I opted for a steroid shot into the tendon area. I have an appointment set up for six weeks when we will assess the results. I also found the written literature they gave me quite helpful. The office staff was friendly, and the PA and the doctor were personable and helpful.

Dr. Clinkscales is great. He has a wonderful bedside manner, puts you at ease with humor, and does the maximum to prevent pain with procedures required to help your condition. He gives you non-surgical options and doesn’t push surgery when more conservative treatment might work. I would highly recommend him and trust his expertise.

I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor. I also was suppose to get cortisone shots and he left the office to go somewhere else. I didn’t get my injections or my appointment ending with my next steps.

Dr. Clinkscales has a great bedside manner, is very knowledgeable and recommends conservative treatments first before surgery is considered. I highly recommend Dr. Clinkscales.

This is my second experience with Dr C. He has a great sense of humor and is an expert hand surgeon.

Dr. Clinkscales is friendly and makes patients comfortable throughout your appointment. He thoroughly explains your condition and his plan of care recommendations. I have progressive osteoarthritis in both hands. He gave me three plan of care choices to consider. He recommended hand therapy and a brace. He did not recommend surgery. Needless to say, I was thrilled at the outcome! Remember, just because a physician is a surgeon does not mean they always perform surgery. Good surgeons often recommend non-invasive conservative treatments to help your condition. I highly recommend Dr. Clinkscales.
