This doctor is so great I am 75 years old set in my ways but this man here takes very good care of me and my heart would recommend him and all North Texas Heart to anyone Thank you again Dr Velasco for taking good care of me

Dr. Velasco was the the lead Cardiologist responding to my care the night that I arrived by Care Flight to Baylor, Scott and White in Dallas, January 2019. After unsuccessful Cath Lab treatment Dr. Velasco confered with Cardio colleagues and referred me for immediate open heart surgery due to systemic Cardio Vascular Disease resulting in a heart attack. My age was 59 and my health was good. With gratitude and thanksgiving I am blessed by the man and the Doctor. Dr. Velasco stayed present the entire night and fought for my life. He, my wife, a handful of saints, along with the surgeon who "fit me in" between two heart transplants - patched my heart and completed one by-pass - saw me through. Dr. Nelasco always takes the time to explain what is going on in your body in a manner easily understood. He is always cheerful and always respectful of his patients and their families.
