Dr. Pardo is a star. I'm blown away by his patience, clarity and brilliance. He cares for his patients with heart and soul. He combines stellar medical care with ultimate compassion, a rare combination!

Dr. Pardo is top notch! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and answer any questions I have. Yes, Johns Hopkins is a teaching hospital so he always has students with him, but I think this actually enhances the care you receive. Best neurologist I have been to by far.

The first 15 years of my ms treatment meds kept me stable but when I had problems for the last 6 years he would not ever see me in person and would not answer calls even when urgent. Based on other docs advice I finally fired him, years after he caused me damages, in my view. Very sad and hurt my health terribly.

As a sufferer of Long Covid, a condition where the symptoms of Covid-19 linger far longer than two to four weeks, I have been experiencing some of the most debilitating neurological symptoms of this virus. In addition to this, I’ve also experienced humiliation and dismissal as I’ve tried to seek care for my memory loss, crushing fatigue, confusion, facial pain and numbness, and eye inflammation. I was recommended to Dr. Pardo by an esteemed NIH doctor. I couldn’t have been more disappointed by Dr. Pardo’s lack of care for my condition. Even whole offering him a detailed list of over 20 Covid symptoms, he continued to assure me that I never had the virus based on test results. He refused to take note of my symptoms and during email communication, seemed to imply that I was making up my condition. I attempted to send him medical information and articles about the neurological damage of Covid. He ignored them. His lack of attentiveness was not indicative of a doctor who studies how viruses attack the brain. He assumed that my negative PCR and antibodies test meant I never contracted the virus. As we know, 40% of PCR test results are inaccurate. Sadly, there are many more doctors who dismiss and gaslight patients with Covid when they don’t have a clear understanding of what may be causing lingering symptoms. This virus is teaching us that listening to a patient’s concerns and symptoms is far more beneficial than relying solely on tests that are not accurate as Covid is a novel virus. Dr. Pardo doesn’t seem to adhere to this mindset. I am worried about patients with similar issues who will visit Dr. Pardo. His flagrant inability to offer compassion and care for Long Covid patients is the reasons why many in this community are still suffering up to eight months after contracting the virus. Many of his colleagues rave about his educational and professional excellence. I can’t agree: I found him rude and dismissive. Not only was he not able to help me, he couldn’t offer me any recommendations of another physician who could. I would never recommend anyone

I have been extremely impressed with the care Dr Pardo gives to my daughter. She has been his patient since 2016 when she suffered a paralyzing virus. He takes time to explain things (often with students and residents along to learn). Having been a nurse for 30 years his knowledge and expertise impresses me. Sometimes he is difficult to get a hold of but typically it is because he is out of the country and his office doesn't handle things as efficiently as he does.

During my appointment, Dr. Pardo had 2 Students in tow. He seemed more interested in teaching his students than ensuring I understood my condition. Several times during the appointment, one of the students interrupted him to explain things to me. Thank goodness for him! At one point, Dr. Pardo nonchalantly answered the question of how I would know my condition had progressed, by advising I would become paralyzed! Horrible bedside manner. Although very pleasant, I found him to be disconnected.
