Dr. Carlos A Ferrari

My consultation was right after the pandemic, which meant it was virtual. It also meant I didn't really get much attention in how and what to do and when. When I came back after doing my insurance pre-requisite, I was just given his pre-requisite and told to send it in once it was completed. I researched every specialist I went to see, made the appointments, and then had to send the documents to Dr Ferrari. The main issue was that I was demanded to lose more weight after already losing over 50 pounds. I did more research, found out that this requirement was way over the norm, and decided to get a 2nd opinion who agreed with me. I decided to switch surgeons, as this one proved they kept up with much more of the scientific research and needed all of my previous results and paperwork. I contacted Dr Ferrari's office, to get it, and was told he would only give me what he ordered. One... as stated earlier he didn't order anything. I did. Two, these are my documents. My medical history. To not give a patient her paperwork is just very unprofessional. In addition, it took almost a month to get what they would send. I was told I could come to the office to get the rest.... had a family member pick it up, and it was the same information I had received previously. I am now scrambling to get the paperwork I need, had to contact my insurance to give me some of the previous paperwork, and having to wait for a 2nd approval. It is two months later.

I had a very good experience with DR Ferrari and his staff I would recommend DR Ferrari. I just had my 3 month post surgery follow up. all is doing great ! Dr Ferrari. is a very caring and a kind Doctor. I would recommend Dr Ferrari 100%. Thank you Dr Ferrari!

The doctor is Ok I was going to have surgery with him ,but thanks to the office staff I'm going to cancel and go to another doctor. I am a current patient with a surgery date for 9/16. My experience has been mostly positive. The Dr is great. My only complaint is that every one is so hastily. Once everything started moving it really moved fast. Only took them a week to get me approve. Stay tuned for more.

Dr. Ferrari seems like a good surgeon. However his "patient co-ordinator" is horrible. She was constantly losing my medical records or not receiving them. She claimed records couldn't be used because they didn't show my weight. Only to find out after I paid $25 and took the records home that my weight was listed 24 times. Then she gave me a surgery date to get me to shut up and not bother her when something went wrong with the hospitals contract with my insurance company. I advise if you go to this Dr. you have everything prepared and obtain your records yourself before your set back 3 months like I was. I'm going to a different doctor. After notifying their office about my no longer being a patient, I get a call from not one but two staff. One was the supposed patient co-ordinator and the other the office manager. Harassing me about my opinion of the incapable co-ordinator's job. The office manager actually told me good luck putting my life in the hands of another doctor, and taking that risk. I'm sure they might think that scare tactics usually work. Not with me. I would complain to the doctor himself if I thought it would do any good. They are reflecting poorly by how they treat patients, And I'm supposed to be scared about going to a different doctors office? I dont think so!
