Dr. Carlos A Diaz

Dr. Carlos Diaz it’s one of the best doctor that I’ve seen in my life! He truly is a very caring, compassionate, patient, and listens to my story of the horrific experience with other doctors in the area. He took me in as a patient and I think God for putting him in my path. I underwent physical therapy which greatly helps my medical condition. I highly recommend, this doctor to anyone that reads this review. His physical therapist and his staff are great as well!

I just returned to Dr. Diaz, Marvin & staff after a three hiatus and it was nice to see the same faces I saw in 2020. Back pain at L3 & L4 has been bothering my for 2 months. Now after a shot of cortisone I am feeling so much better. Not only is my back straighter without pain, my disposition is better as well. Why in the world did I wait so long?

Dr. Diaz and his assistant, Marvin, are always kind, thorough and compassionate. He is the best!

Absolutely excellent. Took a lot of time with me plus explained everything in layman terms. Highly recommended him.

Dr. Diaz is excellent, I would refer him to anyone wholeheartedly. His approach is different than other doctors, he listens and explains things in detail.

I highly recommend that you stay clear of this office. There are too many valid reasons to list.

Dr Diaz is very thorough, cares about his patients. He doesn't rush my appt either. Staff is fantastic

I saw Dr. Diaz today. I am so impressed with his knowledge and how well he explains everything. I am definitely going to become a patient of his. I am so appreciative that Dr Herbold referred me to him for testing.

1. I scheduled an appointment online only to find out the appointment didn't exist because they don't even check that system. 2. The receptionist made me deal with all my referral paperwork multiple times, when every other Dr's office I've been to, they take care of inter-office communications and referrals for you. 3. On my first visit, Dr. Diaz didn't bother to read my medical history they have you fill out and assumed things about my health that were not accurate, I had to correct him as he was dictating false information. 4. I was treated like a criminal and made to pee in a cup, was taken off meds that were working for me for 6 months, and was given a prescription for a medication that didn't exist because they wrote capsules instead of tablets. Went to two pharmacies, was expected to drive back 45 mins to the office to get a new script due to THEIR mistake, found out the Dr. and medical assistant left for the day immediately after my appointment (late morning/early afternoon??), they then finally called in a week's prescription instead of a month's as the initial prescription had stated, which resulted in me having to fill and pay for it twice, again due to THEIR mistake in the way they wrote it. 5. Dr. Diaz repeatedly belittled me, stating at every appointment that he didn't understand why I was in so much pain based on my MRI report (he never even saw the actual scan), and told me he should be in more pain than me, also told me I'd become a statistic. Had me in tears. He'd also ask me over again each appointment where my pain is (does he not even read his own notes?) 6. Tried to pass me off to another Dr. in his office to get injections that don't even work for my issue. 7. Changed my meds again and when I called Friday morning in intense pain, they never even called me back. It's now Monday morning and they still never called me back. I just called to discharge myself (so I can find a better Dr.) and the receptionist didn't even ask/care why I was discharging myself. 1. Great staff, Dr Diaz is top notch. Highly recommend this office.

I have seen Dr. Diaz in the past but I went back for a second opinion on a diagnoses I received from another doctor. He was wonderful, explained that there was something that could be done to help me and what would be done.

I started seeing Dr. Diaz a couple of years ago for an old back injury. Dr. Diaz is wonderful. He’s compassionate, listens to me, and is genuinely caring. He’s on time 99% of the time. Marvin, his assistant, is friendly and gets me in and out in the shortest amount of time possible. I highly recommend Dr. Diaz.

I had my first visit with Dr. Diaz today. I have suffered from back pain for years. Recently it has been very bad. I have seen a spine doctor a few years back, but was not impressed and the level of service was not great. Dr. Diaz sat with my wife and myself for over an hour this morning. He did a wonderful job of explaining and detailing his thoughts for treatment and how to get my situation under control. His bed side manor was awesome and genuinely caring. Dr Diaz, Martin and the rest of the staff are the absolute BEST! They set the example of how doctors should treat patients, very personal, caring and supportive. As a patient you feel heard and understood. I wish all my doctor/ patient interactions were this great. Highly recommend!

Dr. Diaz was one of the best spinal pain doctor I have met. (I have met many) I have chronic serious back issues. He was able to diagnose the current issues quickly and with great care. He gave me a spinal steroid injection for my significant pain and it was more effective than any similar treatment I have had.

Best ORTHO I have been to. Very thorough in the exam. Tells you like it is. Spends time with you to explain and listens to your concerns and questions. Highly recommend this Doctor.

My husband and I both found him to be calm and caring. We have never been rushed out, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Diaz and Marvin are great, caring and supportive and dialed into my issues immediately. I know now i am in good hands when dealing with my pain management.

As a physician myself I appreciate the rational and anatomical approach to diagnosis and treatment planning, and then to collegial and expert treatment. The combination is rare these days considering the fragmented nature of health care. This is a high quality practice.

Dr Diaz took the time to ask me about what I do, and how I feel regarding the injuries I have and then set up a personalized program for me to get back on my feet. The PT staff are awesome and the front desk ladies are also awesome!

I have some rare autoimmune issues going on, with allergies to a lot of the medicines Dr Diaz would need to treat most folks with. Complex case! I met Dr. Diaz for the first time today and was impressed that he was curious and asked a lot of questions about it, and told me at the end of appt he was going to go read up so he could learn more about it ???????? I like that. It shows that me he cares, and is interested in making sure he knows HOW to best help me. Believe me, I know I'm not easy medically, & it isn't fun being an autoimmune patient, either. But the fact that he wants to learn more gave me a good feeling -- I'm glad he is willing to take on the challenge and look forward to next appt with him so we can discuss options. What is not to like about this office. Nothing. Dr. Daiz was personable and professional. He was caring and competent. I was seen on time and out in less time than it took to do the paper work. Everyone from the girls in the front office, Dr. Diaz, and Marvin are wonderful. My husband is a long term worker's company accident with 2 back surgeries. Dr Diaz & his staff have been beyond great. They listen! ! We highly recommend Dr Diaz & after seeing him for 2yrs+ are very happy with him and all his staff, they care.

This doctor is too busy to truly care about you. Is smooth talking, fast talking, and is so anxious to get to the next patient, he doesn't show concern for you and it shows. After asking a couple questions, I asked if I could ask 1 more (as if there was a limit), he simply replied, yes, but hurry. Thanks for caring. Uff, have moved on to other doctor. SO diaappointing

I love Dr Diaz & Marvin, Dr Diaz has been my Dr since 2006, He & Marvin, plus the Staff are the best around. I was there this morning for my 3 month check-up,took one look at my knee & asked me what I did to it. Told him Twisted it on Tuesday, Wednesday dropped a case of water on it. I tore my ACL and have fluid on my knee. But since I have to be at the Vascular surgeon and Cardiologist just keep ice ,my brace and elevated till we see what is happening with my surgeon's. Absolutely outstanding doctor! He is caring, professional and will always answer any questions you may have. The facility has a great physical therapy built into the building. Also Marvin Dr. Diaz’s assistant is truly amazing and the competence of their front desk is unparalleled!

So thankful to have been referred to Dr. Diaz by our neighbor as we recently moved to the area. He is a wonderful doctor--his instincts and expertise are excellent. He discovered that my son had a leg problem far beyond a muscle pull and we were able to treat it before a more serious fracture occurred. His office even called periodically to check in on my son and see how his treatment was progressing. Soon my son will be walking again all thanks to Dr. Diaz making the right call and getting us to the specialists we needed to see. We are forever grateful to him. I came to Doctor Diaz with an old knee injury and he diagnosed a spine injury. He is an expert without question in his field. My husband ( who is a physician)and I trust him 100 percent with my care.Dr.Diaz has a very kind and caring bedside manner. I would highly recommend him. His staff are super caring and competent.

Dr Diaz is an excellent communicator. Dr Diaz evaluated my mother and explained the evaluation and the differential diagnosis. His office scheduled an injection for her. Dr Diaz ‘s office was very polite. The office had oil paintings that were created by Dr Diaz’s wife. This added to the calmness of the office.

Dr. Diaz has been just wonderful to me; warm and caring in addition to being extremely knowledgeable and helpful to my specific conditions. I will continue seeing him, for the original reasons, but also, Dr. Diaz’s expertise has shown that he has knowledge in other areas that have been of benefit to me. I want to add that Marvin, his P.A., is also extremely competent, friendly and pleasant, and has been another great medical asset to me. Great team, Dr. Diaz and Marvin!

I would like to share my thoughts about Dr.Carlos Diaz and his staff. I am a Vet, and I will not let any Dr. at the VA even get close to me. I decided that I would pay out of my pocket for a doctor that cared about his patents. I did talk to several doctors out here, but found the same problem that I have at the VA, NO ONE CARES, just give us your money and go away... I was sent to Dr. Carlos Diaz by a Dr. at the local urgent care center, so far, calling Dr. Diaz was the best thing I have done for myself. The Dr. and his staff made me feel welcome and very cared about. I was there in his office until I had said everything I wanted to say. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Diaz, and his medical assistant Marvin! Dr. Diaz has an excellent bedside manner, and has taken the time at each visit to listen and address my health concerns. When I've called with follow-up questions, Marvin has always been easily reachable on the phone and happy to assist with my questions. I'have (juvenile-onset) rheumatoid arthritis and have been to many doctors over the years. Dr. Diaz is one of the most compassionate doctors I've been, too! I have vertebrae in my neck fused from the JRA, and had concerns about continues muscle spasms in my back. He listened and even encouraged me to voice my fears about the disease so that he could address it...I think that was the first time a doctor asked what scared me about it. I have been to numerous doctors should try and diagnose the pain in my shoulder. Every other doctor said it was coming from my neck and never actually listened to me. Dr. Diaz was the first one to actually listen and sent me for an MRI of my shoulder where I have a Ligament that's torn 95% of the way. For years many many doctors later I was able to finally find someone that knew what they were doing and that was Dr. Diaz. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I've been having right shoulder pain for about 5 years now. I've had 4 vertebrae in my neck fused which didn't help 5 years ago. All other doctors I have seen have always focused on my spine or just prescribed narcotics to cover up the pain. 1 visit with Dr. Diaz and a few physical tests in his office and he sent me for an MRI of my shoulder. Dr. Diaz was one of my worst doctor experiences ever! My mother even refers to him as someone you would see working out of a truck; a medicine man. He did not want to listen to me about my problem in my neck, back, and shoulder and how much pain it was giving me. Instead of fixing the existing problem, he made it worse. I am 22 and have been living with this pain for 2 years and he didn't even show compassion when I said I couldn't sleep at night I was in so much pain

I have been with Dr Diaz for 13 years now. He has treated me for a problem a lot of doctors don't know much about and I am so greatful that I found him. He is very caring of his patients and takes his time to listen and to explain the situation. If I had to drive a hundred miles to continue with him I would have no problem with that. I feel that he is not just my doctor but also a good friend.
