Excellent staff and customer service is on point. There was a little wait time but it’s a busy office and I didn’t mind. Dr. Cruz explained my surgery and put my mind at ease. Very pleasant visit. Thank you for the free coffee too!

Dr Cruz knows what he is doing & projects confidence & compassion to his patients. He explains what the issue is & what he is going to do to resolve the issue in terms you can easily understand. He's very considerate of the patient & the anxiety of the surgery they are going to have. An all around good doctor & gentle man.

Dr . Cruz in my opinion is God! My father had arterial disease and died from it years ago. I knew I could be in line for the same problems. God sent me to Dr.Cruz and I give thanks to Him for that. Dr. Cruz has operated on me twice and referred me to Dr. Ricky Harris for a blockage in my heart. Dr. Harris referred me to heart surgeon Dr. Acuff. I had triple by-pass surgery because of the three doctor. They saved my life! I dubbed them Dr. Cruz (God I), Dr Harris ( God II), and Dr. Acuff (God III). God guided me to Dr. Cruz. I needed a wound vac following my AAA procedure. As a result, I had to come to the office weekly to have the bandage etc changed out. Angela/Nurse Practitioner along with the assisting Nurses were the absolute best. They took such sincere care of me and always listened to our concerns and were very understanding. It is rare to find a doctor who is very skilled and also very personable! He will just pop in when you are in the hospital and make sure everything is okay. His office staff are wonderful and the addition of nurse practitioners just ups the game.

I didn't have to be "patient" very long in the waiting room. That's always a nice surprise at a doctor's office. Dr. Cruz has always been personal in his consultations, and in this recent visit, since it was positive news for me, he really seemed joyful -- as was I.

Dr. CRUZ IS A VERY CARING VASCULAR SURGEON. I WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITAL IN DENTON TEXAS WHERE HE IS ON STAFF . DR CRUZ ordered tests for me to find the problem. I had an artery 100% blocked no blood to my lower left leg. Dr Cruz did my surgery. As he also cared for other health issues I was having, he asked other doctors to check in on me. I have never in my life had such a wonderful experience. I know if you have a need for a vascular surgeon, and you can get Dr. Cruz you will have a good experience. I would recommend him to anyone. Dr. Cruz is not only a amazing physician but such a caring person. I’m very bias because he literally saved my life 5 years ago. He’s your guy if you’re ever in need. I highly recommend not only Dr. Cruz but his staff is the best as well.

Dr. Carlos Cruz performed an endarterectomy on my neck several months ago and took very good care of me post op. Since that time, he had sonograms done on both legs and feet and will continue followup on both arteries in my neck, an abdominal aortic aneurysm and legs. My husband and I have both used Dr.Cruz for different vascular issues. We were so impressed, not just with the way he approached our treatment, but also with how easy he was to talk to and how open he was to our questions. We now go back for yearly check-ups so he can make sure we’re maintaining our vascular health. He and his staff always treat us like we’re the most important patients they have. Dr. Cruz, as well as his office and nurses are excellent in their caring for your needs. They are very knowledgeable in their medical care and are just wonderful in making sure you are relaxed while doing the examination. We were thrilled with the results from the surgery. I had a surgery scheduled for 11:00 am today, check in at 9:30 am. They put a port in my arm around 10:00 am. At 11:15 am I am getting a little nervous as the surgery is late. I meet the Anesthesiologist and he is a bit scruffy which does not make me feel any better. Finally at 12:45 pm my nerves are shot and I am tired of the port in my arm. I ask them to take it out so I can go home. I realize surgeries vary in time but they should have let me go home and rescheduled and not lie there for 2 hr

Dr. Cruz has been so helpful in resolving my particular issue. I originally saw a different doctor not associated with Dr. Cruz's office. The other Dr. performed a procedure that did a tremendous amount of permanent damage to my leg. Dr. Cruz has been so diligent and kind in helping in my recovery. I just can't say enough positive things about Dr. Cruz. All of his staff are so pleasant and helpful in every aspect of my appointment scheduling.

Excellent service. Cares about his patients, makes sure you don’t leave without a complete understanding.

My largest compliant is that someone would rate him "4Stars"! when he is clearly 6 (I know 5 is the highest). I went in with no feeling in my feet. I spent a year with a Neurologist then multiple Physical Therapists and got no relief. A coworker recommended an Orthopedic Surgeon and within 5 mins sent me to see Dr Cruz. After my initial visit I was sent for a CAT scan and the result, were clear. Without sharing what was wrong Dr. Cruz went in fixed, repaired and did what over a year; no one could do! I have feeling, I have hope, I have my leg and feet back. My wife said it best, "He is a ROCK STAR!" Dr. Cruz is a fantastic Dr. I was diagnosed with a DVT and two PE's a month after my surgery. Dr. Cruz was assigned to my case and I am blessed to have had him; he kept me alive! While I was in the hospital with my blood clots, he reminded day after day that I was going to be okay; he really cared about my health. Thank you Dr. Cruz!

I have needed the help of Surgery Associates off and on for over twenty years. All the doctors and their staff have been incredible. Dr. Cruz have helped me over the past two and a half years and I am unable to express my gratitude enough for his care. He has always found a way to work me in when emergencies have arose, very down to earth, always listens and this is from someone who is probably not a good patient. I give him and his staff AAA's across the board.

A very good surgeon. Patient care is outstanding. Waite time is usually not long, but occasionally he gets called away for emergency surgery. No complaints as it could be me some day and it is good to know he is available.

Dr. Cruz is a great surgeon. He had taken vey good care of me. He has a very pleasant personality and explains things in an understandable manner. I fully trust him.

They don't get any better than Dr. Cruz. Finest surgeon and most caring doctor in the metroplex. He went out of his way to perform a procedure on me when I wasn't even scheduled for that particular day. His communication skills make it so easy to understand what is going on and what we need to do to fix the problem. I feel very fortunate to have Dr.Cruz on my team. Just a great person who really cares.

He has been great in taking care of my wife's neck artery surgery...added to her life.

Dr Cruz has always done specialized, caring work on me. He truly cares and takes the time to get to know the patient and the details of their health before embarking on surgery. When he does embark on surgery, he always does an excellent job.

The staff here is wonderful and friendly, this was my first visit with Dr. Cruz. My cardiac doctor suggested him also my primary care doctor told me he was good. I was very happy when I met him he is down to earth and seems a like such a humble man. I got good vibes from our first meeting. I am very pleased with him and his staff.

Every surgery I've had w/Dr. Cruz as the surgical physician (2 so far; 1 more to be done very soon..) went very smoothly and successfully.
