Dr. Carl A Tandatnick

Dr Tandatnick has come to my rescue. I was in chronic neck pain and after consulting with him, he recommended a cortisone epidural. He arranged for me to be seen quickly and after just a day or so my pain level was 90% better. It has been improving day by day. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Tandatnick. He is a highly skilled professional with empathy and understand of those in pain. Thank you Dr T.

After experiencing much debilitating pain and discomfort I am so very pleased to say Dr Carl Tandatnick has helped me resume life comfortably pain feel!

I didn't know it but I had a pinched nerve in my back (lumbar 3 and 5) that severely affect the use of my right leg- no tennis, no PB, etc. Previous tried physical therapy with another group, but that never got to the real issue. Went to Jaffe Sports Medicine and saw Dr. Tandatnick. Suffice to say less than a month later after a MRI and other tests, I was given two cortisone shots simultaneously and never felt a thing. I have had trouble with my right hip and leg. Dr Tandatnick treated me with injections in my hip and I am now completely pain free I would recommend anyone with pain get treated by Dr Tandatnick I am extremely thankful for his getting me pain free

Dr Tandatrick was professional and quickly identified my problem and took steps to give me relief quickly. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and competent doctor.

While Carl used shots and “burning of the nerves” quite successfully, he neglected filling my necessary prescriptions in a timely fashion, causing me to be without pain medication for as long a two weeks. I finally had to fire him.

Dr T and Karen are the best. He always on time, explains everything in detail and gives reasons for all treatments. Karen is always cheerful and shows concern for the patient. Good team!

Dr.T was (and still is) an excellent doctor. He has worked very hard to get ease the pain in my back that goes back over 30 years. No other doctor in all that time had been able to get me pain free for any period of time. He was also very sensitive to the pain that treatment causes and made that as easy for me as humanly possible.

Horrible as well, the old bait n switch dr story, paid my co pay in network dr, next thing I know I get a huge invoice for things I never received, when a dr is in network anything done in the office should be covered by your co pay, not here they charge you for any other thing, bill was outrageous!!!!

Absolutely the best pain management doctor! Kind, knowledgeable and very professional. Highly recommended!

Had severe back pain with no relief from one doctor ,Visited with Dr Tandatnick he explained what his thoughts and next steps should be ,Dr Tandatnick changed my prescription (s ) added PT and I was playing golf in a month.Team is very friendly and helpful.

Amazing. So happy to find a compassionate doctor. Have been in serious pain since Dec. 2015. The first Md to sit down and speak to me not at me. His assistants, two wonderfully knowledgeable women. Should anyone be experiencing pain, do yourself a favor and give him a call, you will not be disappointed. I have been in the medical field for a long time and am pleased to say, even his office staff is “on target”.

He stopped my pain when no one else seemed to be able to and for that I’m very grateful

I have seen Dr Tandatnick five times and he is a phenomenal physician. I am so impressed with his professionalism mannerisms truly caring attitude and medical judgment. He has been able to relieve pain in my lumbar and sacral area In the course of two visits after 15 long years of pain and other methods tried. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone seeking pain relief.

Dr. T has been so companionate with my husband and I after our auto accident. He understood my fear of spinal injections due to a surgery many years ago, and never tried to force a procedure on me. He has treated my husband with two back injection procedures and we are hoping for the best, just needed to praise Dr. T and his nurse Gina at onset, for their professionalism, knowledge and compassion. If you are in pain you need to see him. He knows his stuff!

He is amazing. I went in with a screaming back and he found a procedure that made it COMPLETELY PAIN FREE! The girls in the office are so helpful. His assistant Gina also gets five stars. Highly recommend them both.

Dr. Tandatnick is very friendly and successfully treated my lumbar stenosis.

Horrible ......He wouldn’t even come in and talk to me he had his MA assistant do it I was totally disappointed in this whole demeanor how do you not come in and talk to a patient!!!!!she goes on a tyraid and not Issuing Narcotics....I never asked for them. I happened to bring A dear friend of mine who happens to be in Burley high skilled nurse I don’t wanna get into what department she said she’s never seen anything so unprofessional like that in her 27 year career or a doctor can’t even come in and talk to his patients and has them walking out the door when I asked what am I supposed to do now to manage my pain she says go to the emergency room how disrespectful can this office be.

Dr Tandatnick treated me for an intense sciatica pain. He took care of my problem as soon as possible. I recomend him for your back problems.

Dr Tandatnick has kept me out of pain for two years without drugs. He is most professional, yet aminicable and humorous. I highly recommend him. We wish him well in his new journey.

I have been going to Dr. Tandatnick off and on for years, recently I had severe lower back pain, after a few visits for shots I am pain free again. I then had severe pain in shoulder, went to him but that wasn't his field, he immediately got me an appointment at a wonderful orthopaedic doctor in Clearwater for the next morning and here it is 2 weeks later and 2 cortisone shots I am once again pain free. He and his staff are wonderful. I feel blessed to have found him.

I have been seeing Doctor Tandatnik for awhile now and he is a pleasure to see when I have appointments. He has helped me in so many ways with my back. The procedure he does to help get rid of the pain is phenomenal. I am awake at all times, I feel nothing that would hurt me and he is finished. The nurses are so kind and make sure I feel OK and then my pain is gone and I have appointments for him to keep an eye on me and to be sure the pain is gone. Just moved to Largo and during my move I felt some unusual pain in my right knee. The pain soon was in the lower back and down the leg and was extreme. MRI showed 4 bulging disks. I was sent to therapy but this did not alleviate the pain. Dr. Tandatnick then gave me 2 epidural shots and the pain was gone in 2 days, what a relief. If you have sciatic issues, do not live with the pain. You can get an appointment pretty quickly and there was never a wait past your appointment time.

Dr. Tandatnick has been a God send for me. I have received ESI’s which have tremendously reduced my level of pain. I am very grateful to him.

I have been seeing Dr Tandatnick for 5 years with many different issues of my back. My latest issue was my sciatic nerve running down the front of my leg. This was keeping me awake for hours every night. The doctor gave me an injection and the pain was totally gone in the sciatic. I have had many injections in radio frequency treatments in my back. The help that he has given me has kept me off pain medication and that's where I think I was heading before I started going to him.

Dr Tandatneck was recommended to me by my physical therapist because of lower back pain I had been having for years. He found a way to treat the pain without surgery or pain killers. I can now bend over without pain.

Dr. Tandatnick is wonderful. After being in pain so bad I just wanted to cry and scream, going to several recommended doctors and physical therapy over the course of several years , I was sent to Dr. Tandatnick by my primary care doctor. He is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. He is very thorough, answers all my questions and I really feel he truly cares about helping his patients. Since going to him, my pain level has diminished so I can function normally.

I have been seeing Dr Tandatnick for about 2 months.... I felt he took my care personally with an excellent bedside manner... He asked me a wide variety of questions about my pain he reviewed my x-rays and MRI.... He has always answered my questions very thoroughly.... Long story short he relieved my pain with cortisone shots.... No narcotics! No pain! Being pain free is a wonderful thing... Thank you very much Dr Tandatnick...

I was very disappointed with Dr Tandatnicks overall demeanor. He didn’t want to answer my questions only with brief generic answers. He gets upset with me because he couldn’t find one of my meds listed on my chart. I told his MA when she was typing in my info I can’t help the issues she may have. however it was given and listed on my information sheet sent to me by his office as well as a verbal discussion. with her. He then goes into a tyraid about not issuing narcitics I hadn’t asked for any

Dr.Tandatnick worked on my back and he did a tremendous job on it and I'll tell anybody in the world that they ever have a back problem they can always come up and see doctor and he'll get the job done

At my first visit as he walked in his greeting was" If you are here for narcotics you need to go somewhere else" . I do not write for those. Never asked for narcotics nor was it my intention to. Then he schedules procedures knowing well that the patient is on blood thinners and needs to be off for a few days. He is judgemental and this was my worst experience ever at any doctors office. Save your time and look for someone better.

The doctor and his staff have been extremely helpful to me, and issues with my back have clearly improved. I have already recommended him to 5 of my friends. I cannot explain the difference in my life I have since being treated by Dr. Tandatnick. I havae 5 bulging discs and the pain is dreadful. BUT, after being treated by Dr. Tandatnick, my pain level is very manageable . When the Doctor is with you, you have his full attention, never rushed, welcomes questions. The staff is exceptional - best.

I would like to thank Dr. Tandatnick for the wonderful and excellent care I have received. I recently had one epidural shot and it has changed my life. For the first time in many months, I am pain free in my back .... about 80% now, which has been like a miracle for me. He is thorough, listens carefully, rechecks details and is very caring and also has a great office staff. Thank You!

Dr. Tandatnick has been my pain management M.D. for several years. I have benefited greatly both from the steroid treatments that he gave me and his expert guidance of physical therapy . I consider him a "great" doctor in every respect .'

In August 2015, after months of excruciating back spasms that would sometimes drop me to my knees, I went in search of relief. I found Dr. Tandatnick. He suggested a series of injections to both left and right sides of spine and I had immediate relief. One year later and still no spasms. We have now addressed an issue of lower back pain radiating down my right hip. Again, I have relief and am able to resume my daily exercise. My thanks to doctor and his caring staff.

Very positive, Dr Tandatnick, from my first appointment, said he would make my neck pain be eased. So today for the first time in 2-3 years I can turn my neck WITHOUT pain. Thank you Dr. Tandaknick and your staff!!!

Absolutely great. He is very understanding, listens and is extremely helpful. I thought the whole experience was excellent.

Sensitive to client concerns. Answer questions for his field. Recommends superb surgeons and neurologist and physical therapists. Does not believe in opiates to mask symptoms nor use of neck braces or hydrolic traction.

I had severe lower back pain and nearly confined to a wheelchair. After 2 treatments the pain level is minimal and can enjoy my normal activities again.

Dr. Tandatnick's thoroughness and professional manner, together with his great experience and knowledge enabled him to immediately take care of my problem. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for pain relief. He is not quick to prescribe medication or surgery but works with you in your best interest. He has helped me with my back pain tremendously.

Dr T is amazing. He takes care of me and my wife. My wife calls him Dr. Miracle and he deserves that nick name. My wife reviewed Dr T and could not find a place on the site to write her feelings, so I'm doing that for her and me. As far as I'm concerned he's not only an excellent physician he's a very good person. YOU CAN BE absolutely sure of receiving the best medical care possible. Additionally, his staff, Susan and Linda are outstanding.

It's more than just being knowledgeable as a good Dr. should be. As his patient, I feel he truly does care how I feel, and have developed a trust in him necessary for my treatment/recovery/healthcare.
