Dr. Camille Swihart Braswell

I have been a patient of this practice for several years. I have not received the best treatment just recently when I was experiencing severe pain and unable to walk after hospital stay. So calling the office and insisting on Someone calling me is considered being rude. I was dismissed from the practice. I called to make an appointment with another doctor is when I found out about the dismissal. Very unprofessional, so I would definitely look elsewhere for a more competent doctor and friendlier staff. Don't be in pain or your likely to be dismissed. Looking for a great diagnostic family doctor NOT ASSOCIATED WITH CHI ST VINCENT!!!

I was referred to Dr. Braswell by my doctor who retired earlier this year, only to learn, she does not accept Medicare. I was surprised to learn this ... but it was good to know so I can begin to look elsewhere.

Dr. Braswell is very nice, but I do not recommend her for overweight/obese/fat patients or patients with mental health concerns. She does not seem current on the best practices for treating either type of patient, and I often felt patronized and like my concerns were dismissed as being weight or exercise related, even when they were provably not. I sought care elsewhere after multiple years of trying to make it work.

Dr. Braswell has been my doc for primary care for over six years. If there were ten stars, I would give her ten stars. Dr. Braswell is caring, professional, knowledgeable and an excellent listener. She has also been very helpful with specialist referrals and followup. She is also a Christian which is important to me. The waits at this office are extremely long, so if you are in a rush this is not a good place for you. Dr. Braswell does spend a lot of time with you and is thorough and I do appreciate that about her. However, the first time I met her she said some things that hinted to her having a lot of weight bias and being fat phobic. I saw her again and this time it was even more apparent, she still goes by BMI as the main indicator or health. Suggested weight watchers, intermittent fasting, and asked if I ate a lot of potatoes(???). I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes (after cancer) and have a really average body, this was so demeaning to me and I wondered how it would be for someone with an ED or body image issues.

Dr. Braswell is the best I found her after my former PCP retired and love going to see her. She actually cares about her patients. She listens to me and I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Braswell has been my physician for over six years. I wish there were ten stars because five stars are not enough to adequately express my satisfaction with Dr. Braswell. Dr. Braswell is thorough, a great listener, clinically sound and has the gift of making you feel like you are her only patient. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Brasswell is a very compassionate doctor. She has been my doctor for many years. I appreciate all she has done for me and my family.

I waited for an hour to see Dr Braswell for an initial physical. I felt this was too long and nearly left. Our actual visit together was thorough and unrushed. The entire visit including wait was an hour and a half, which felt too long.

I had an appointment scheduled for mid-morning and waited 1 hour & 15 mins before I decided to leave without being seen because I had to get to work. I have never waited so long and wasted so much time at a doctors office. I do not recommend if you value your time.

She has been my PCP for a few years now. When she transferred to a clinic a little further away, I went ahead and transferred, also, because she is very thorough and knowledable. She gets a 10/10 in my book!
