I was seeing a group of midwives for my first pregnancy, when suddenly my birth needed to be an emergency cesarean. I was emotionally exhausted when I was introduced to this rude woman, Dr. Holmgren. She was competent in the surgery as far as I can tell given that my baby was well and I didn’t die. But she was rough with me and I felt personally victimized by her when she wouldn’t address me directly and spoke only to my husband. Awful doctor, I don’t recommend her to anyone.
Dr Holmgren has been a huge blessing in my life. She has helped with the loss of my preemie by planning my future pregnancies to be safer and less stressful. She answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed or unimportant. She is kind and friendly and very knowledgeable. She helped me bring 2 more children into this world and I am sad I will never work with her again, as I am done having children. I would recommend her to anyone!

She made us wait as patients in the hospital for 24 hours + only to then tell us that she was referring us to Primary Children's. She could have referred us at the beginning, but instead wanted to make sure the hospital could bill us $4000+ for a needless over night stay. On top of that, she decided that she needed to needlessly perform another ultrasound that lasted for < 5 minutes just so should could have her office bill us $1000 for using her precious time and equipment.
