I do not recommend

Terrible bed side manner and left very little time for questions.

I keep hearing his a great surgeon but if your not a surgery candidate he has no time for you and he needs to either retire or relearn bedside manners. ONLY thing this doc did was ordered MRI but as far as explaining to you the results of an MRI if you dont require surgery he has no time for you.

Had bunyan fixed. Am suffering to this day. Total incompetence. Way too arrogant. God's gift. The star should be negative.

Dr hawkins is a great surgeon very nice man and he wants the best for his patients overall

The staff was thorough&competent. Dr. Hawkins is kind, thorough & alleviated all my fears. I am so happy I went to him. I feel confident that a problem I have had for years will be fixed finally!!!

My entire experience was very positive. The front desk staff members were warm and welcoming, the nurse was very kind and personable, and Dr. Hawkins was knowledgeable with great bedside manner. Thank you to the entire team! Highly recommend!

Dr Hawkins sat down with me today and discussed my condition and treatment options for at least 15 minutes. He answered every question I asked and explained in detail. I was very pleased with my visit! Great office personnel as well!

I had been told I needed a fusion on my big toe and a huge bunion needed to be shaved down in 2013 but my husband showed me a video of the procedure so I waited 7 years because I'm a chicken! Dr. Hawkins made me feel very comfortable and he explained everything so I could understand. I wanted to be put under anesthesia to pull the 4" pin out but he assured me I'd feel no pain and I didn't. Very personable and kind. My other foot needs the same surgery so I'll be seeing him in the winter. Highly recommend! I appreciated Dr. Hawkins and his staff. They listened to my issue, discussed options in a clear concise manner, came up with a plan of action, and sent me out of the clinic with an understanding of what needed to happen. Also, I liked the brace fitting and the pharmacy being in the same office. When you’re in pain, extra steps are a big deal. It was fast and convenient! Dr Hawkins has performed two surgeries on my feet. He is a very professional and personable surgeon with an equally professional staff.

If you do not have insurance, I recommend you find another dr. that will look at you as a patient and not just a quick paycheck.. not only did I shatter my heel bone but while he looked at my x-rays and ct scan he did say "well this spot here maybe another break" but not one time touch my foot to examine it. He was in the room for 3 minutes and didnt answer any of the questions we had asked him. We honestly got more information from the er visit.. then he sent in a guy trying to sell me a boot for another $100.. on top of the $300 I had to pay to even start my paperwork.. so after waiting a week and a half to get in. I got told he wouldnt do anything for me... very disappointed his medical abilities and his staff was to busy to keep things in order.. when I called to make the appointment the lady on the phone said my appointment was at 9 am and to be there by 8:30 to start paperwork.. we was there at 8:15 am to find out my appointment was at 10:30 am... I'm glad to finally come across a surgeon to see my pain at my age not to just say u will need a knee replacement but not right now u are too young but referred me to a colleague to see if I could be a candidate for a partial replacement!!

Dr Hawkins is very personable and explains things in a way you can understand. Nurses and office staff are great as well.

Office is charging me $90+ to read an x-ray that I provided. I am paying for visit with cash and told them I wanted no extras. Business office does not return calls. Will have to pay or they will send me to collections.

Did a knee replacement and it failed completley. Had to have it redone by another doctor. Never listened to me and was always in a hurry. Could have not had a worse experience

This man know feet and ankles. He is the best. Over many years I have come to him with several foot issues. All were taken care of perfectly. I went to many other doctors before him and went for years and years with one issue reoccurring until him. I recommend him very highly for all foot and ankle issues you may have.

Dr Hawkins and his staff have always been professional, courteous and went above what I expect when I go to a Dr. During the last 20 yrs I have taken my 14yr son(soccer player), my 85yr Dad(back pain), my 80yr Aunt(hip replacement), my 30yr son(motorcycle wreck), myself (broken fibula & lisfranc injury) and recently planter fasciitis. When my husband hurt his knee recently, Dr Hawkins is the only one I would call. Not only do I think he's great, his staff thinks he's great too...I ask!

Dr. Hawkins didn't listen to me. He provided short term solutions to a long term problem. Absolute waste of a copayment.
