My Grandson had surgery and had the BEST experience possible with Dr Folkers. He had Gynecomastia that is embarrassing enough for a young man but to be treated with the respect and kindness that he was it made him feel so at ease and gave him a new confidence. My Grandson looks amazing and we went into this with zero surprises as everything was fully explained in detail. I very highly recommend Dr Folkers and his staff. The whole experience was amazing and I could not have asked for better treatment or care for my Grandson.

I have scheduled twice for hand surgery. 1st time, I was called and asked if I would change my date for surgery because someone with skin cancer needed him. I said okay. Now they called again and cancelled my appt and wanted to reschedule it for 6 weeks later. I will have to repeat all pre surgery tests again. So paying twice on X-rays, heart tests etc. cancelled because he needed to consult with another Dr. that day. Obviously I am of no importance. Extremely rude and unprofessional. It has been five months now since my surgery with Dr. Folkers, and I'm happy with the results, Dr. Folkers explained the procedure and care he and his nurse will give after the surgery and they did, they make me feel welcome and care for before and after my surgery, I look better and can see great because of my surgery

I only gave him one star because I can't rate him any lower. I complained for months that implants, after a bi-lateral masectmoy, were not right and one of them hurt. I was brushed off he kept saying "oh they will settle in".I finally saw another Dr who removed and replaced them. One had no pocket to hold it in place and was falling under my arm. The other was completely encapsulated in scar tissue. They also were the cancer causing implants and I had never received any kind of notification. I would not bring my dogs to see Dr Folker. From the outset, Dr Folkers understood I needed a functional solution so I could stop fighting my body and work with it instead. He fought to get the issues through to the insurance. Days after surgery I am able to breathe freely (and thence think clearly), walk freely, and have full range of motion. He's been supportive on what will be a long aftercare as the wound closes. I couldn't ask more. I recommend him to anyone who has a complicated functional issue that takes thoughtful understanding. Dr.Folkers is an Amazing surgeon. He I very knowledgeable, caring, and great at everything he does. He is a perfectionist which is exactly what you want in a surgeon. Heidi is also awesome, she is on top of everything and keeps you updated every step of the way. Very kind, caring and knowledgeable as well. It has been 4 months since my breast surgery and I am extremely happy with my results, extremely! Dr. Folkers explained the procedure to be performed and the results to expect and the surgery went as planned. A huge shout out to Dr. Folkers and his efficient staff... Thank You.

Dr. Bryan Folkers is a masterful plastic surgeon. I came to Dr. Folkers with an open wound about 5" long by 3" wide and over an inch deep with exposed metal from extensive bone repair surgery in my lower leg. My odds of keeping my leg being over 60, diabetic, and obese, were pretty grim. Dr. Folkers worked with a number of experimental treatments in addition to traditional therapies. In less than 4 months, my wound is nearly completely healed over. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Folkers and his incredible team of medical professionals. My results are incredible, and my gratitude is unending. Dr. Folkers is by far the best plastic surgeon in the business.

Dr. Folkers and his team were great to work with. He takes the time to listen to your desired results, explains the process thoroughly, and is honest and straight forward with expectations. His entire team made me feel comfortable through the entire process. I’m so happy with my results.

Dr. Folkers can be summed up in 3 words...Skilled, Kind, Gentle. He has an experienced team as well. He and his team came very highly recommended by my General Surgeon Dr Fumaro, he and his team spoke very highly of Dr Folkers and they were right on !!!

Dr. Folkers has excellent bedside manner, great customer service and strong attention to detail. He is very thorough and patient with questions. The team that works for him is equally as good. For questions big or small; I strongly recommend him.

I had upper eyelid surgery end of 9/2020 by Dr. Folkers, and couldn’t be more pleased! It was done much better then an regular eye doctor. It wasn’t painful at all, and my down time (healing) took a couple of weeks, but i was able to get out after 5 days. Very very pleased, and i would go to Dr. Folkers for any type of surgery if i felt the desire to do so. Highly recommend him!! I consulted with two other doctors before choosing Dr Folkers for my breast lift. I knew he was the right doctor for my procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Folkers and Heidi and the Broadlawns team. I am very pleased with the outcome!

Dr. Folkers did a wonderful job with my surgery. Him and his staff were able to answer all of my questions, quick to get me in for an appointment if I had any concerns, and very friendly. I'm very happy with both the results of my surgery and my experience!

From the first time I met Dr. Folkers and his nurse Heidi, I was greeted with THE BEST care a person could imagine. Dr. Folkers made me feel comfortable and at ease and answered any questions I had. His nurse Heidi deserves a Daisy award, as she is so caring and makes sure she is available if you need her! I had a rough first week and there was always open communication between them and myself. Dr. Folkers work exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. He is remarkably talented and meticulous about his work. He made me feel very comfortable, was personable, and took his time to answer all of my questions. His nurse, Heidi, and staff were also knowledgeable and compassionate which made for a very positive experience. I went to see Dr. Folkers at Broadlawns Medical Center, and he is a highly capable and compassionate surgeon. He is kind, personable and very reassuring. The results from his care were exceptional, and I would highly recommend him. His nurses were equally wonderful, and Broadlawns has very nice medical facilities.

Almost all of my family members have been treated from Dr Folkers for a variety of needs. From hand trauma, carpal tunnel, skin cancer, breast reconstruction and other cosmetic requests He has always been very professional and has a great attention for detail, perfection, and listening to meet your requests. That's hard to find and I highly recommend Dr Folkers without hesitation.

If you really want to know about a surgeon, ask an OR nurse. I am an RN and have worked in the OR for 25+ years. I've worked with countless surgeons and, when it came time for me to need the services of one for reconstructive and plastic surgery, I chose Dr. Folkers. He is friendly, compassionate, took all the time necessary to explain procedures and answer all my questions, and did an excellent job on my surgery. I am confident I made the right choice and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Folkers treated me with respect and curtesy during my pre and post op survey visits for breast reconstruction. I am extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend him to anyone!

We ended up with Dr. Folkers through an emergency room visit with severe hand trauma. Dr. Folkers did a good job on the plastic surgery, but in follow up visits to deal with bone and joint damage the results were not good. The bedside manner of Dr. Folkers and his head nurse were terrible. We ended up switching to an orthapedic surgeon and were very happy we did. I would not recommend this doctor.
