Bryan Lawrence Abramowitz

Dr Abramowitz has been my physician for maybe 10 years and I am very grateful to him and Kendra for their kindness all these years. Over 3 years ago when the pandemic was just starting to be a news item, he told me that he felt that it was a much more serious issue than what the news was telling us, and he was absolutely right! I look forward to seeing him and Kendra whenever I need them.

I have been seeing Dr. Abramowiz for more than 10 years. He is fantastic. His assistant, Kendra, is awesome. Among the many wonderful things they do is that they are ALWAYS on time for appointments. They never waste my time waiting.

Dr Abramowitz listens to you and helps you solve your medical problem. I'm lucky to have found him. Wish it was easier to reach the office and schedule an appointment through the phone.

Everyone who said the receptionist is rude is right! Extremely difficult to make an appointment at this office with such a problematic receptionist. I waited a month for my first time visit and the receptionist booked me for a virtual visit instead of an in-person visit like I asked (multiple times, called and spoken with them 3 times within the span of 3 weeks to reconfirm). Instead, the receptionist threatened to rescheduled me because they didn't have any paperwork which makes no sense as a new patient. Haven't been able to see the doctor for over 6 weeks that I switched primary care giver. When I called to cancel my appointment the receptionist said "Oh good, I knew it wasn't going to work out" in a snarky and condescending tone. Zero decorum, manners or any type of human communication skills. I don't leave bad reviews but for the importance of working in the medical field and dealing with patients and their vulnerable needs, this treatment is outrageous. I have also filed an official complaint with my health insurance. Terrible. Everyone who said the receptionist is rude is right! The receptionist is clearly in the wrong line of work. She is impatient, rude and has horrible communication. I am a business owner and would never employ someone who is supposed to be the first impression of my company that is just unhappy. It is very clear to me that she hates her job and people.

Dr. Abramowitz is great. He cares about his patients and takes the time to help and care for them. The one downfall of having him as your PCP is having to talk to the receptionist. I have been with Dr. A for 3 years now and I have been holding off on writing a review about this. But I hit my breaking point today after another, painfully unprofessional phone call with her this afternoon. Every time I call in she is rude, condescending, unhelpful and belittling. She has the attitude of a 16 year old who is annoyed by you calling in - her job title is literally his "receptionist". I'll spare all the details because this review would be a mile long but be warned. Whenever you call in to make an appointment you have to speak with her. I had to tell her I didn't mean to annoy her while rescheduling a doctors appointment today. She made it very clear I was annoying her because the conversation took an extra minute when I was waiting to get off the phone until a confirmation text came through for my appointment. Very rude receptionist and do not advise calling for advice. Cannot speak for bryan but in order to get ahold of him must talk to receptionist. Called to see about a physical. Upon call was told do not accept medi cal nor was the lady polite so I hung up. No need to waste time. In which she calls me back to tell me she would of helped me if I didn't hang up so rudely in which I said sorry yet did not change her attitude and she just repeated do you need a referral rather then actually helping or answering any questions. Just not what would be expected from a sharp representative and my attitude in hanging up was a direct reflection of hers. why call back to be filled with rudeness and ignorance avoiding all questions. I understand you guys are not doctors and may not be able to share any advice over the phone but doesn't explain rudeness and shouldn't of called me back. He's a bit unconventional but extremely competent. He helped me fix a chronic condition that had been ailing me for 10+ years. Before Dr. Abramowitz, I'd seen a primary physician and also a specialist for this issue and neither of them could figure it out.

Great Doctor, awesome bedside manner, explains very well. Super staff too! I would definitely recommend him.

Excellent Primary Care Physician. He cares about his patients. He is a great listener. He is attentive and you'll leave knowing he wants the best treatment for you. He also gives excellent advice on ways to maintain your health so you. I highly recommend him.

Great Family Doctor. Detailed and Thorough. Updated after 1 year under his care: He cares about the patient first. HIs business is second. This type of honesty is rarely seen. This Doctor reminds me of the health care that I used to receive when I was a child (growing up in the 1980's and 1990's). He offers personalized and attentive care. This doctor evaluates you as an individual and your individual condition. He then prescribes or advises on the proper medication or rehabilitation habits specific to your situation. Every ailment, no matter how big or small...he has listened and he has given me specific and effective insights on how to resolve. Some ailments requires pills (for example, troublesome ear or sinus infections), some require different habits (for example, nerve inflammation in the elbow due to a sprain and/or habitual incorrect posture)...in the end this Doctor looks after my best interests. He accurately diagnosis the underlying issue causing the symptoms that I describe, and he doesn't prioritize your health over the financial bottom line. I greatly appreciate his great advice. This Doctor's highly accurate diagnosis and treatment advice allows me to live a healhty life! Medications when needed, Different habits where necessary. I have repeatedly sought a family physician and all of the hospitals and clincs....the doctors constantly move around. This Doctor runs his own small office facility which makes him easy to locate and easy to find. He is the best resource for health advice. He his office doesn't provide all of the tests or procedures, but he will be your best advocate on figuring out what is wrong and how to address the your individual health situation in your best financial interest. Good visit with the doctor. Knowledgeable and good communicator. Staff could have been more polite and respectful of privacy.

i'm very happy with dr Abramowitz. i find his candid, honest, transparent manner very refreshing and i feel he is honestly concerned about maintaining my good health. i also feel like he doesn't just see me as dollar bills in his pocket but as a fellow human being he is interested in assisting. he is more thorough and takes more time with me than my prior physician was whom i eventually left! i'm very happy with my new choice, i feel like i have a strong ally to preserve my health going forward, i feel confident and supported by him! i'm very happy with dr Abramowitz. i find his candid, honest, transparent manner very refreshing and i feel he is honestly concerned about maintaining my good health. i also feel like he doesn't just see me as dollar bills in his pocket … More

Bright, efficient, practical, no nonsense, punctual, highly ethical, no agenda and to the point.

Dr. Abramowitz is a great physician. He shows genuine care and concern for his patients and never treats me like a number or dollar sign, which unfortunately, is prevalent among so many doctors. I would easily recommend him without the slightest bit of hesitation.

Excellent Primary Care Physician. He cares about his patients. He is a great listener. He is attentive and you'll leave knowing he wants the best treatment for you. He also gives excellent advice on ways to maintain your health so you don't have to visit him as often. How many doctors do that? I highly recommend him.

I have many medical issues and as such have dealt with many physicians since moving to San Diego. However, a physician is only as good as the staff in his/her office as it is the medical assistants I will be dealing with to schedule tests, get results, confer on insurance, etc. Dr. Abramowitz an excellent physician but it is the that same excellent quality of his medical staff that really impresses me. I do not have to double check is tests have been scheduled, etc. This is NOT true of all.

Friendly staff and supportive staff. The doctor listens to my concerns and provides excellent care and advice. I'm so happy that I found this office.
