Dr. Flax explains any procedure and answers any questions with care. The staff are all caring and attentive.

I was pleased with the amount of time that Dr. Flax spent with me and for the amount of detail he offered. It occurred to me at one point that he might have been trying to talk me out of going ahead with radiation treatment; then I realized that he simply wanted me to own the decision. I thought about all he had said for the remainder of that day and the next and decided to proceed with the treatment.

First meeting with Dr. Flax to discuss treatment options for prostate cancer. He did a excellent job going over options and did a exam. I made a commitment to continue with him and will be receiving treatments in near future . Dr. Flax treated my wife for Breast cancer twice and she now is a 20 plus year survivor.

Dr. Flax is a true professional. I have zero complaints or concerns.

This was probably my last visit because my radiation was finished May 2021 and am now seeing Dr Mikus. I was treated very well during the 28 days last year

Follow-up visit after PetScan. Dr. Flax and staff are fully open, direct and honest. Unfortunately, I thought of questions I should have asked after the visit. During the visit Dr. Flax talked about the whole process. The one thing I have discovered is that no one advises the reality of how long the body takes to recover from the Rad/Chemo I had. Of course, I am not sure a lot of folks would be happy with the length of time, but better than not taking the remedy. Dr. Flax and staff have been extremely supportive through the whole process. No one has mislead in any way. I will just be happy when I can hear the words "Cancer Free!"

I am Dr Flax's patient and he has been very helpful over the course of my 6 weeks of radiation treatments for prostate cancer. We met once a week for a status check and to address any issues. He was always gave valuable and useful advice. In about the 2nd week I was having issues with frequent urination that I had to make frequent stops during my 40 mile drive to the clinic. He recommended an over the counter drug that worked within one day and reduced the frequency of my stops. He listened carefully and gave me good advice. I am continuing to see him for follow up visits. I recommend Dr Flax and the administrative staff of the Winchester Cancer Clinic. The staff was very efficient and compassionate and I spent very little time waiting.

I've only met with Dr. Flax briefly so I would like to wait until after my complete Treatment to comment.

Absolutely, not only is he totally competent in his profession but he is people literate and caring. He seems original, he listens, gives answers you can understand, no ho-humming around.

Scary. Would like to have more in depth explanation of pros and CONS of radiation treatments. Doc was knew his job.

Caring staff make me feel comfortable all the way through this trying period. Also, little wait time. I'm seen fast and leave fast.

Appt. went well. Dr. was cordial and thorough. A lot of information to absorb as I was by myself. Registration staff and nurse were exceptional.

Very happy with my first visit with Dr. Flax. He is very knowledgeable, explained everything in understandable terms, and was willing to repeat anything when necessary. I especially liked that he explained topics in "sections", always asking for questions before he moved on to the next topic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Flax for over a year. He is a personable and patient Dr. He explains everything in an easy to understand manner and makes sure to answer any questions you have.
