I have a very sensitive mouth and was petrified to have a root canal. Dr. Cha and his staff were wonderful, professional, took great care with my comfort and anxiety level, the procedure was literally painless! A tremendous relief.

I don’t recommend. I went for a very expensive CT Scan to diagnose an abscess!!! He is very short explaining the details. I will never go back to this doctor. The staff is great very polite and professional. I should have read the reviews before. Bad experience...

I had a root canal done by Dr. Cha and it was such a pleasurable experience. First of all, I was in a lot of pain and he squeezed me in right away. I was very thankful. Dr. Cha was very knowledgeable, personable and kind. The office was very clean! They took safety precautions due to COVID-19. Everyone who worked in the office was friendly and nice! Can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cha and his team! Highly recommend!

I had a root canal with Dr Bruce Y Cha on December 11, 2019. I have severe dental anxiety but Dr Cha and his assistant Toni were excellent. I experienced 0 pain during the root canal and 0 pain after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr Cha and his associate Dr Jin Jiang and their entire professional and friendly staff.

Today was the second time I needed the care of Dr Cha for a root canal. After expressing to Dr Cha a very bad root canal experience by a different doctor many many years ago and my desire to not feel nothing so he could do his job, he put me at ease and expressed his sadness for my bad experience. Both Dr Cha and his assistance Tony reassured me they would do what ever it took to make me comfortable and they did. Once I was numbed and comfortable, the job was accomplished. My experience was positive and I feel Dr Cha’s years of listening and care for his patients is both professional and valuable for others to know. Thank you Dr Cha and Tony for your calming professional care you showed me today.

I have had a root canal before on a different tooth, done by a dentist in my previous hometown. This visit, I was referred by New haven dental to Dr. Cha for a root canal for an infected tooth. My previous root canal I had done by a different dentist was traumatic- it was very painful for me and it took 2 hours for two sessions (four hours total). I hadn't received enough numbing, and the dentist was good, but she took so long that the numbing would wear off. My experience with Dr. Cha was completely different. He made sure I was plenty numb. The first 20 minutes was full of anxiety because he would give me numbing medication and reassess the amount of pain I had, but eventually I felt nothing, and it was smooth sailing. It took less than 2 hours, and I walked away pain free. I am so thankful to Dr. Cha and his office for taking such good care of me, considering how much anxiety I had. He really makes sure you're comfortable and as relaxed as possible!

Very sympathetic physician. Delay the firs day (If you aren't the first in, there's going to be a delay, as with any professional). Second visit was immediate, and the same level of care. My regular dentist sent me to him based on complications. No regrets, but ask for parking directions :)

Dr. Cha is an expert, he is kind and courteous. He is the only doctor in New Haven County that you want to perform your root canal. I highly recommend him to everyone and anyone. Also, his dental assistants and staff are the best. They made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain.

Dr. Cha was through, caring, and personable. He turned my dreaded root canal into an almost enjoyable experience, I was sorry to leave! Office staff was also excellent.

If you never had a root canal done , don't do what I did and research it on the internet, all procedures are different. What you should do is go to Dr. Cha's office in Hamden, Ct. From the moment you walk in and speak with Tina & Denise in the front office you feel very relaxed. I had the pleasure on having Dr. Cha and his asst. , Toni, perform the work. At no time was I in any pain. They work as a great team and Toni always was ready with the next tool for the dentist. GREAT JOB !!!

Dr. Cha is an artist as much as a dentist. He is a caring, gentle, assiduously committed professional who is among the most confidence-inspiring experts and calming influence I have ever seen. And the best root canal practitoiner by far for me. I told him that no matter what part of the world that I lived in, I would always come back to him if I ever needed another root canal.

This was my second root canal with Dr. Cha and the experience was the same as in 2011, pain free . Dr. Cha goes out of his way to make sure his patients are comfortable and relaxed. I felt zero pain which is almost unheard of with my sensitive teeth. His office staff is equally kind and courteous, highly recommend this practice.

I had an excellent experience with my root canal preformed by Dr. Cha. I am a person who is terrified of the dentist never mind getting a root canal and Dr. Cha and his staff made the process better than I could have imagined. I am very thankful for Dr. Cha's expertise with root canals. A year ago there was a severe abscess in one tooth not identified. Dr. Cha's 360 x-rays located the abscess and a root canal was done. During the time prior to the root canal, the inflammation had been intense in my auto-immune system and I was experiencing severe pain in numerous parts where arthritis has been developing. One day after the root canal, the pain was gone. Our mouths show our health. Research supports this too!

My experience with Dr. Cha and his endodontics team, was an excellent one. The environment created by his accommodatiing staff, beautiful pics of nature on screen savers in treatment room, & classical music were very calming & relaxing. Dr. Cha is by far the best endodontist!! He is absolutely excellent, very professional, caring and gentle. He took my appointment immediately. His staff and assistant Toni are also spectacular. I have to say that I suffer from extreme dentist/endodontist anxiety. Dr Cha was so gentle, the entire procedure was painless both physically and emotionally. He ensures you are comfortable before he begins and explains everything. If I could give 100 stars I would. Thank you Dr. Cha!!

Don't dare ask questions or ask for clarification, you will be treated very rudely and with a huge dose of sarcasm. First time in 60 years I've ever complained about treatment by a physician.

I was experiencing significant pain and sensitivity in one of my molars, and I was so glad to come across Dr. Cha's practice. The service and patient care were top notch - I experienced virtually no pain during the operation and was out of the office within an hour. Writing this review 2 weeks later, I am so happy and relieved to say the pain in my molar has subsided and both sides of my mouth can enjoy eating again! Thank you Dr. Cha and staff!!

He said he couldn't help me and was very rude to me. He still charged me just to look at my tooth that was very rude and said he will not help
