Well first off this place is what God placed in my mind so I wouldn't an couldn't have found a better place to find such special anointed doctors to do what was needed even tho it is painful I thank God for Dr. Toone an matt-;his Pa. They are the very good at what they do an I'm blessed to have them as my doctors cause they are careing for their patients,plus they listen they why I can say I love them just like God loves us. God will cover them with his blood so they can put there cares, seditions on God Amen! Dr Tonne .. Highly recommend.. excellent personal relationship skills.. always explained all procedures and follow up.. His bedside manner put me at ease and alleviated all my anxieties.

I have been working with Dr Brian Tonne and Matthew LaBelle PA-C and the entire staff at UTMC for over a year now for osteoarthritis of the right hip and right new that required a total hip replacement and a total knee replacement. It has been a superb journey. The two surgeries, while amazingly complex and invasive (at least in my mind), we’re performed on an outpatient basis. The recovery has been essentially complete I am pain free and have resumed my previous lifestyle almost seamlessly. I will absolutely be coming back to this team if this recurs on my left side. Fortunately/unfortunately I have had the opportunity for Dr. Tonne To work with me on two different occasions. A complete compound fracture of my femur in 2017, and most recently a broken foot in December 2021. on both occasions his demeanor, simple explanation, and attention to detail were impeccable. I cannot think of anything they could have, or should have, done differently. Great service, highly recommended! Everything is great ,for recovery need some how to issue a ice machine that circulate the Coldwater through hoses to wrap pad for quicker recovery after knee replacement. The Activewear blue ice only lasts 15 minutes at a time it's not a consistent cooling therapy just please think about it . My Surgeon was magnificent no complaints at all . The U.T. hospital staff was also magnificent keep up great work. Just change recovery ice wrap to a ice machine . Thank you Clyde L. Dr. Tonne and his staff were very attentive and took time to answer my questions and concerns. The wait time was very minimal. I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Tonne for several years and would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Doctor office staff is very friendly and gets you in on time for your appointment. Dr. Tonne has been my doctor for a year. I have no complaints he explains everything to you. I would recommend him, great doctor.

He did knee replacement on my wife 2 wks ago. He is the best in my opinion.

Always great treatment from this office. The staff is very professional and pleasant. Dr. Tonne has always taken great care of me. I highly recommend this office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tonne’s for going on 6 years. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He takes the time to listen and discuss your concerns, in order to reach a solution that fits your orthopedic needs. I will always recommend anyone with orthopedic concerns to Dr.Tonne and his staff!

Very personable and straightforward. Great service.

Dr. Tonne and his staff are amazing. Explaining in detail about the surgery and post surgery. I felt very comfortable and at ease discussing everything with Dr. Tonne and Matt his PA. If I needed any questions or help with a problem, I would call and leave a message. They would call me back the same day. They are wonderful people to take care of you. Dr. Brian M. Tonne saved my life when I had a traumatic femur fracture in 2014. Due to my injury, I developed avascular necrosis which required a total hip in 2020. Dr. Tonne is a superb physician in all ways. Besides being brilliant & skilled, he is caring and has one of the best bedside manners I have ever encountered. I am a retired physician and he explained every surgical detail thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. M. Tonne to anyone who requires an orthopedic surgeon. His staff at Univ. of Tennessee was EXCELLENT from intake to discharge! I wish there were more Physicians like him. Sincerely Mary Lee.

Dr. Tonne and University Orthopedics are extremely disrespectful of patients' time. A typical 5 minute consult will require a half-hour wait before being called, and at least another 30-45 minutes to see the physician or PA. By far the worst practice management we've encountered in Knoxville. Comment based on 4 visits so far. Level of care seems appropriate, competent but average. Average time with physician/PA 5-10 minutes (and adequate for problem).

Dr. Tonne is the best, I was in a mva resulting in multiple fractures in my foot including a lisfrance fracture. After being told by other surgeons my injuries were to "complex" for them. I was referred to Dr. Tonne, In my consult Dr. Tonne explained my injuries and plan of treatment very thoroughly, And scheduled my surgery the next day. As expected my surgery went great, And I am extremely confident all future surgeries planned will go the same. I highly recommend Dr. Tonne, He is definitely the best in his profession.

Dr. Tonne was very nice after my first check up he called me that he will refer me to another doctor. And they will call me in a day or two. i waited for three weeks but I never got a call from that other doctor. We called the other doctor but they said they haven't recieved anything. My hip condition was getting worst. We kept calling Dr. Tonne's office but no clear answer. Three weeks ! We ended up picking up my medical records and handed it personally to another doctor.

Absolutely wonderful care & top confidence in Dr. Tonne. After a spiral compound fracture due to a motorcycle accident Dr. Tonne has taken great care of me. His ability to put you at ease in the most traumatic situations. His follow up care is compassionate and empathetic. I highly recommend Dr. Tonne for any surgical need.

Our daughter was in a zip line accident and fell 55-60feet and destroyed her arm with two compound fractures and a brake all in her lower left arm ,they wasn't for sure if they could save her arm or not but Dr. Tonne and his staff put her back together (with a lot of plates and screws and two bone grafts) and now she has a chance at a normal life again WITH her arm. My daughter is a beautiful very active 20 years old who never sits still so you can imagine how devastating this was to her that she almost lost her arm, But now she is looking forward to the healing process to get back out Into the world thanks to Dr. Tonne and his staff!!! Thank you so much from a very grateful mother!!!

Performed emergency surgery on shattered knee cap. If I ever have to have any other ortho. surgery, I will see him. He is the greatest in every aspect.
