Dr. Schuler is the Best!!! Hands down. Outstanding Cardiologist!!!!

I had a pacemaker implanted by Dr. schuler in 2008. He was able to get me through my pregnancy (pacer was placed while pregnant) and also through my second pregnancy, 4 years later. I trusted him as a physician and felt he looked out for my best interest. My pacemaker was then end of life on the battery and he made a decision that it was best for me to have it removed. He made it seem as if he had extracted pacemaker leads previously - which I later found out by a search online that he had not. The surgery was complicated and instead of him stopping and sending me elsewhere, continued. I ended up getting blood clots in multiple deep veins within my arm, chest and neck. The whole thing was a huge disaster. I was sent to another physician in Philly who ended up messing up even more. Dr. Schuler had said he would research to figure out how to handle my case,which was only after I said I wanted a referral to a vascular surgeon. I ended up at Hopkins, not because of him, but my family Dr referred me. Turns out I had a rare syndome, which was made worse by wellspan cardiology. I will now have to have yet another surgery this summer to correct all these mistakes. I never received an apology from Dr. Schuler... All this to say - be very wary if he does surgery on you.

Dr. Schuler is very knowledgeable about the electrical operation of the heart. He is sincere and caring. He has surrounded himself by a great team of physician assistants and care coordinators to help him make the most of his time. Together, they kept my wife and me informed as to what the next step is in my care for A-fib. I feel I am in good care with Dr. Schuler.

Dr.Schuler is a great and caring doctor. He always takes the time to talk to me and answer any questions that I may have. When he comes in the room he always greets me with a smile and makes me feel comfortable. I tell everyone that if they ever need a cardiologist to go to Dr. Schuler.

Dr. Schuler is very much into his work, but also has time to be personable and friendly. As my Cardiologist he is very detailed at explaining my condition, yet is caring enough to ask what issues or expectations I may have. I feel that I am on a Team in total with Dr. Schuler, his specialist staff, and yours truly. And we work together to accomplish what is best for me. Nothing has slowed me down under his and his staff's care. Truly a remarkable, caring man and Cardiologist. The best!

I love Dr. Schuler! He was very attentive to all of my concerns both before and after my ablation. He informed me of what to expect. I had a complex case and he was sure to provide the highest level of care to ensure that the procedure was a success.
