Dr is good. Management of practice is not. Dr. switched to nyu langone last year. A routine request for medication that was done for 4 years with prior group with no issues took 5 weeks after me having to call repeatedly and follow with the NYU staff. With old practice, after 1 week meds were approved and delivered by week 2. Because of the big delay, this pushed 2 of my 3 visits into 2022. I was therefore responsible for full copays. On dispute, Dr office said it was patients responsibility to get specialty meds, not theirs. Total nonsense since they order the meds directly and i have no line of sight to it. I already have a new dr lined up with Northwell health.

I have made quite a few surgeries with Dr. Neri. He is definitely one of the best! His office wait is never long, his bedside manner is excellent and he really sits and listens to his patients. Probably one of the best Dr.'s I have ever used!

Arogant and dangerous. Went to repair a torn menuscus. Came out and was worse. Went back to him and all he said was needed more PT. As a Doctor i decided to put myself to another MRI and ofcourse he missed a tear. Sent to him and he apologizedbut because of him having to go in twice in such a short time i have the worst arthritis. Now to get him to even put a gel in my knee is impossible. Dr. Neri is the man, calm and tells you the straight truth. Wouldn’t even dream of seeing anyone else!

Dr.Neri is an excellent doctor..He takes his time explaining the issues I had with my knee. Dr. Neri is kind and reassuring. I followed him from New Hyde Park. His assistant Kelly is wonderful and I was able to ask questions without feeling rushed. The gel injection given last year has taken the pain away, also injection was painless

Dr. Neri is amazing! He has great bedside manners and explained everything thoroughly ! The day of my surgery, I was very nervous and he came over and spoke with me. He explained everything and made me feel a lot better and made me feel a lot calmer. His team is amazing. Dr Baker was also amazing! He kept telling me jokes and making me laugh so I would feel Comfortable the day of surgery! He explained everything and was simply amazing ! Before surgery, all my nervousness vanished and I felt so comfortable going int ACL reconstruction surgery. After surgery, Dr Neri came over and checked up on me and explained the game plan! I had major arthroscopic shoulder surgery 10 years ago and the recovery was brutal. Eventually , my shoulder wore out. I was extremely skeptical about joint replacement and recovery but couldn't endure the constant 24/7 pain anymore . Dr. Neri was recommended by a few friends. At my appt. , Dr. Neri, upon examination and testing, recommended a replacement joint , explained the procedure and we set a date for surgery. Within 2 weeks after surgery, and the incision site almost fully healed , my range of motion was almost completely restored without any pain in the joint , just site swelling and discomfort associated with stretching therapy afterwards which was completely tolerable considering my previous experience. I would strongly recommend Dr. Neri for this type of surgery.

You are not a patient you are a quick few hundred dollars to him.

30 second physical exam total for both knees, found nothing wrong (looked at X-Ray results, said that they were normal, the X-Rays did not come with the scans). He did not see me walk, which I feel is important in addressing knee patient concerns. When prompted on other issues I had, he did not even refer me to someone who could help. I felt that I was treated like a number, not a person, and I still can't walk the same for what has been months (even with going to physical therapy). Dr. Neri should know that the woman who takes his calls and sets appointments is ridiculously rude. She is completely unaccommodating and he lost a patient because of her. What is with people? If you hate your job so much, just find another.

Dr. Neri has replaced both my arthritic shoulders. He replaced my right shoulder four years ago, which now has 100 percent range of motion and is pain free. He recently successfully replaced my left shoulder and I am recovering well. Dr. Neri is highly skilled, extremely professional and has always been responsive to my questions. Dr. Neri has been tracking the arthritis in my knees for several years. When I finally took his gentle advice and had injections of hyaluronic acid, my pain and mobility issues were relieved within 24 hours. I am sitting, rising, bending, and walking with no problems. Had a Total shoulder replacement done by Dr. Neri He is a fantastic surgeon . My shoulder is like new!

He didn't seem to take my pain seriously. I went for an MRI and he stated he didn't agree with what the radiologist saw which was a small tear.

Just had knee surgery today with Dr Neri. What a great surgeon. Very caring and compassionate. I am so happy that I went to him. He has a great PA Kelly and the front desk are equally great. I would recommend him to family and friends. He is the best.

I had carpal tunnel and trigger thumbs on both hands and I got them done 5 yrs apart. Both times I was happy with the care I got. His office waiting time was not unreasonable and his staff was friendly and efficient. If I ever need an orthopedist again I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.

I have only good things to say about Dr. Neri. I have had only good experiences with Dr. Neri, PA Kelly, the radiological staff and the office staff at ProHealth. Whether the office was very busy or not, Dr. Neri always took his time to listen to me. I never felt rushed in the exam room. I had ambulatory surgery on Monday 2/18 with Dr. Neri and his amazing surgical team to repair a torn meniscus and cartilage in my right knee . This was my first surgery and was extremely nervous. The surgery was quick and as promised, I walked out on my own. No pain was experienced at all and did not need pain meds which was a concern of mine. His staff is very professional and made me feel very at easy. If you need Orthopedic Surgery, I would highly recommend this outstanding team.

He could have cared less about my moms pain...had he requested an MRI when we went to see him we could have gotten her relief earlier but he didn’t even bother to examine her ...maybe because she was 88 and she should be put out to pasture, he couldn’t be bothered.

Went to Dr. Neri back in May twice for osteoarthritis of the hip with a laberal tear. I was in so much pain I could barely walk. He never offered a cortisone injection, which I only had recently learned from another orthopedic would help me. I didn't know this was an option. In a week from having the cortizone injection I can finally walk again. Dr Neri should have offered me this option back in May and unfortunately I suffered for 5 months. In fact Neri did nothing for me at all.

Went to Dr Neri for a tear of the hip and osteoarthritis. I had a fractured shoulder at the time and my hip was in excruciating pain. I told him that I could barely walk at times, esp. from a sitting position. He acted as if it was a gift that he just walked in the room. He did nothing for me, didn't offer me a cortisone injection that I just found out could help and I got from another ortho after months of suffering. This Dr. basically did not treat me at all and the records prove it.

Great doctor with patience and quality work. Two successful surgeries completed on me by him and every time is a great result. Definitely recommend.

I have been to see Dr Neri and his staff for multiple issues and have always had a great experience. As an active athlete, Ive been to numerous orthopedic doctors and am always disappointed by the wait time and lack of focus on my needs. Dr Neri is consistently great on every front.

What a waste of time. Refused to review imaging which showed a major orthopedic injury, and then told me I didn't have a problem. Never even touched me or examined the injured area. How lucky is he that he can pick and choose from whom he earns a living. Terrible bedside manner. Limited seating in waiting area. Staff are rude and unprofessional; not at all caring. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Find an ortho at a teaching hospital where they're up on the latest research and techniques.

I went to see this Doctor about hip pain. In three visits he changed his diagnosis three times. Spent less than five minutes with me the last time. Claimed I could not be experiencing as much pain as I said based on MRI. Refused to even give me a cortisone shot. Told me to just live with the pain. I guess he thought I was looking for pain meds - even tho I NEVER ASKED FOR ANY! Thank god he didn't operate on me. I would not recommend Dr. Neri to anyone.
