Dr. Brian Edward Laakaniemi

I had a stroke about a month ago and he was the attending physician at the ER, usually a stroke patient is kept for 24 hours of observation but he sent me home and the following day I suffered another stroke and was hospitalized for three days!

I was at the ER a while back, and had the luck of having this Doctor be my dr. He is just an all around amazing person, he is the most humane doctor who ive ever met in my life. He is caring, kind, he was pulling a double shift when he saw me and he still had a smile on his tired face and gave me the most excellent care. He should be the Definition of what a Doctor is! Thank you for having been an amazing doctor to me.

He is an amazing doctor who is truly Worth calling and trusting as a doctor. He has great bedside manner even if he has pulled a double shift (like in my case). Is kind, treats and listens to you carefully. Hoag is veryyyyy lucky to have him.

This man who claims to be a doctor saw me in ER from distance and didnt even come close. He said you must have anxiety problem and if you dont accept being medicated, I cant approve treating you. I had no anxiety but a heart issue! Larer I found out he was gossiping about me. Why anxiety medication? I guess he has low self esteem and medicating patients with anxiety drugs is his way of dominating patienrs. He deserves no license to practice and no job.

Its sad that this foctor is full of prejudices and even hate. He speaks like an authoritarian and is dismissive of patients and their rights. Whats more worrisome is that he is influenced by others even though he has the skills of right diagnosis snd treatment. He cant establish relations with patients and win their trusts. He is cynical toward the ill!

Dr. Laakaniemi is one of the best emergency room doctors I have dealt with. He was knowledgeable and new exactly what I was dealing with. He was quick to see me yet took his time listening to my concerns. He put me at ease and made me feel comfortable
