Dr. Brian David Kossak

Like other reviewers I found him dismissive, unempathetic and disinterested in anything I had to say about my 3 year old daughter whom he was seeing for the first time since her previous Neuro (Dr. Pinto, who was amazing) moved her practice to Boston. I will be seeking a new neuro referral from her pediatrician before her next appointment as the first impression he made was horrible. He may be a very knowledgeable doctor, I can't say as my experience with him was very limited, but that doesn't matter if you are dismissive, rude and completely disinterested in what your patients and/or their parents have to say. Bedside manner matters.

My son does not like going to Dr. Kossak. I thought it was just a teenage attitude, but when I accompanied him to his next appointment, Kossak didn't answer my questions or express much concern to help me understand my son's conditions. I thought maybe he was just having a bad day until I read all these other reviews. I really need to find another specialist for my son to see.

Dr. Kossak is an unempathetic physician. I received a phone call that he would not see my son (who has been with this doctor since he was a toddler) because he is 21 and 4 months old. My son was experiencing new autistic symptoms that I am hoping is not a neurological issue. I guess I have to now try and find someone new because the doctor "doesn't have time." Don't worry I'm sure my disabled son will understand.

Just awful. Dismissive, ordered unnecessary testing, only addressed my husband, which my husbands also found disturbing. Would not see him or recommend him to anyone.

I left leaving his office not feeling comfortable with the dosage of the medication he prescribed my 12 year old son. I just felt he should have ran tests without just prescrbing a medication without trying to find the root of the cause. But, he seemed not really concerned so we'll see how thing's go.
