Extremely disappointed in my care with Dr. Kim. This is the first negative review I have ever written, but I have been so frustrated with this experience that I felt it necessary to share my experience. I have a history of thyroid cancer and had a full thyroidectomy many years ago. Dr. Kim told me I needed to reach out as soon as I was pregnant because of the importance in thyroid function in pregnancy. It took me four days, nine phone calls, and multiple messages to actually reach Dr. Kim. I had to use an old script to go get bloodwork because he was unreachable to write me a script. Once he finally responded, he replied to an old message rather than reading my labs which were faxed over. I had to call again, multiple times, just to get a read on my bloodwork. This patient care is outrageously negligent and irresponsible. Find another doctor with time to care for their patients.

Dr. Kim is a wonderful endocrinologist. He always takes the time to explain things to me, but also listens to my concerns/preferences for my care. I trust him completely.

Fantastic specialist. I am a nurse and have worked with multiple doctors in my life time, Dr Kim was professional and very caring. Listened to me and explained everything in great detail, taking his time. The best doctor appointment I had in my life. So grateful

Dr.Kim is the best! He has helped me understand my illness and is never on a rush to move on to the next patients. He also has an awesome sense of humor! Win Win.

I had the best doctor appointment I've had my entire life. Dr. Kim was patient, thorough, attentive, and did not leave any stone unturned when it came to answering my questions about thyroid cancer and quality of life after with treating hypothyroidism. He is quick to respond on the patient portal and makes you feel heard. I would give his name to anyone in a heartbeat and I understand why he's highly sought after. I feel confident in his treatment and the knowledge he provides, which makes me feel in great hands for the future.

Dr. Kim is kind , straight to the point . He listens , answers every question asked .He provides various treatment options depending on your medical situation. I am pleased with his explanations to my condition and health concerns. I highly recommend him for anyone with an Endocrine disorder. He is sincere and in person he is the same as in his YouTube video. I did google him prior to visiting his practice as a client. Dr. Kim is kind , straight to the point . I was blown away by the attention to detail and time Dr Kim spent with me answering questions, and delivering clear, thoughtful answers. He gave me a thorough exam. He even typed responses on My chart for my referral later. Further I asked if he would speak to my other doctors about my specific issues and collectively they came up with a plan. This almost never happens but should. Thrilled to have found him.

Dr. Kim is the best! I've seen a handful of endos who wanted to immediately do surgery or send me for RAI and he worked with my personal feelings and guided me through and into remission. He is analytical, deductive, personable and professional. He is down to Earth. When you have a question or concern, you can email and he responds anywhere from 8-24 hours and uses professional, yet every day language and makes you feel comfortable and he shows a genuine concern for his patients.

I'm so lucky to have had Dr. Kim recommended to me after my thyroid was removed due to thyroid cancer. He takes ample time during his appointments. He makes certain to explain everything, and types up a visit summary for me to leave with. Whenever I message him with a question, he answers it quickly. I feel very confident finishing my cancer treatment with a doctor who cares so much for his patients.

Dr Kim has been great! He really took the time to explain everything in detail and all my treatment options. He goes as far as being available outside office hours to personally call you to go over test results. When he did my biopsy it was quick and as painless as possible. I highly recommend seeing Dr Kim for any thyroid issues, he's the top in his field. The only negative thing I have is the girls in the front desk are not always friendly.Which is a shame because it sets the tone of the visit

Dr Kim was cold and not nice. He did not listen to me and was over an hour late for the apt. No less other Dr's would come in the room and interrupt the apt . After waiting an hour , all I got was a lecture , all my symptoms were blown off and he would not even consider running tests I asked for. My TSH that he would run,came back 10+ the high end of the lab range , he never called me to discuss my results. This was a true disappointment for RUSH and me, I will not be going back to him or RUSH
