Dr. Brian Andrew Hammock

I would not recommend this doctor. I was assigned to him at Gulf Oaks to help me overcome depression, and due to the traumatic experience I was put through with this doctor and this facility, I now suffer from PTSD. I understand that this doctor has moved on and that Gulf Oaks has since been taken over by another company with new staff and doctors.

This doctor is a poor excuse for a psychiatrist. He is unreachable and is only interested in labeling people so he can keep them institutionalized as his patients. My suggestion would be to find someone who is more concerned for your well being and not just for making the money by keeping you as a patient in the institution he is affiliated with.

Dr. Hammock takes time to listen to his patients and considers how they feel about the adjustments he is making in their medication. He is down to earth and easy to talk to about any situation. He has a wealth of knowledge to help his patients understand their disease and symptoms. I have enjoy having him as a physician. He is also my daughters physician
