Brian Po-Jen Chuang

My regular dentist informed me that I may need a root canal and referred me to Dr. Chuang. My last experience with a root canal with a different dentist was one of the worst in my life. Dr. Chuang was the most amazing, caring and professional. I was immediately put at ease as he explained everything to me. He was not rushed and always asking me how I was doing. I expected to have a root canal but because he is so good at what he does, he took the time and was able to save my tooth. I will still need a crown but not a root canal. It probably would have been faster for him to just do the root canal but he actually cares and if at all possible will spend the extra time to save you teeth. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Chuang and the whole team are the best. Professional and curious, all while delivering the highest quality care. I could not recommend them more. I had a complex case and Dr. Chuang and his team knew exactly how to manage it. 5 stars without a doubt

Did a re-root canal that I had done a few years ago by my regular dentist. Excellent job done by Dr.Chuang. He didn’t rush and made sure he was doing the best job possible for me. I had 3 visits for this tooth due to my many twisted roots. Staff were great and the office had nice relaxing music playing. I almost fell asleep during on of the visits(while he was working on my tooth). Dr.Chuang took the time to explain every step to me and after he was complete with my final visit he showed me images of before and after his work - Fascinating stuff. Learning of tooth absess, I was very anxious and afraid of facing root canal at age 83 yrs. Receptionist Carol calmed me with her soothing voice and knowledgeable answers to all my questions, giving me reassurance & courage. Caring assistant Yasmin and trainee Michelle, so professional - yet down to earth friendly and helpful. Dr. Chuang - well, I can't say enough good things: delightful, handsome, wise, brilliantly intelligent and he performs the intensive work of root canal with steady thoroughness. Fantastic endodontist with impeccable attention-to-detail

Let me start by saying that I am a general dentist, and so when it came time for me to get a root canal done, I had several dentists and endodontists (root canal specialists) to choose from! However, I did not think twice. I went to the best place around, which is Reading Endodontics where Dr. Brian Chuang spoils you with a spa-like ambience, the most gentle of touch, and the most anal and perfect root canals I have ever seen (I mean this as a compliment). His perfectionism skills are obvious, from the décor of the office, to the elegant touches in the bathroom, the photographs/pictures on the walls of the office (he created the masterpieces of artwork himself!) the state-of-the-art technology used in paperless acquisition of dental history, x-rays, and cone beam CT. There are only a handful of these expensive devices (cone beam CT) in Massachusetts, and Dr. Chuang made sure that his office was equipped with the very best of the best! As I said before, it was not an option for me to go anywhere but here. Dr. Chuang is extremely knowledgeable, but at the same time, humble and down to earth. He can communicate to every type of patient, in a way that is easy for them to understand, and will go to every length imaginable to deliver the absolute best of care. I LITERALLY fell asleep at least 3 times during my root canal procedure because I was so relaxed. (I hope I didn’t snore!). Even the music selection contributes to setting this place apart from many dental offices. If you need a root canal done, look no further. Your dentist recommended Dr. Chuang for a reason. Could not possibly give this place any higher of a recommendation. Dr. Chuang was very knowledgeable and kind. Explained everything really in detail. I felt completely at ease having a root canal treatment done at his office. I would recommend him anytime.
