Went for one year checkup for my knee replacement. All went well. Dr. Wiersema was happy with the progress over the year as was I. Glad I went and had it done. ????????

This was a follow-up on my hip replacement. All went well , I was very pleased. Dr Wiersema had done my left hip in 2016 , I was so excited with that outcome, there was no doubt whom would be doing my right hip. He is very forthcoming with information, making you feel comfortable ,all around pleasant, caring person.

Dr. Wiersema is absolutely wonderful! We were so nervous before our six year old had to get surgery. Dr. Wiersema immediately put us at ease and answered all of our questions. The entire staff has also been great during all the follow up appointments.

Great experience today!!

Very cordial, professional and polite staff. I did not need to wait long and saw the Dr quickly. The Dr was professional and very helpful.

Dr. Wiersema performed a total hip replacement on me in March 2022. He is a real professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a hip replacement.

A pleasant experience. The doctor was informative and helpful.

Doc is timely and efficient with time and that’s appreciated. He takes the time to explain things in a manner which is easily understood. He asks for questions and answers all concerns. Has a very good bedside manner.

Dr. Wiersma is the most competent Orthopedic doctor I have met with (and i have met with several others in the past). I especially appreciate his sincerity and attention both before and after my hip replacement surgery. While I did experience a complication that required a second surgery; Dr. Wiersma quickly provided a solution and everything was corrected. I am very grateful to Dr. Wiersma and for his help. Dr. Wiersema handled every aspect of my total hip replacement with kindness, compassion and competence. He is confident because he has the knowledge and skill to do this type of work. His office staff and technicians similarly follow the good doctor’s lead with kindness compassion and competence in their care for me.

Was no help in treating me none whatsoever, very difficult to get calls returned from his staff a complete disappointment and waste of time (4 months) and money

Never!! No stars! Needed hip replacement badly and he refused to treat me until I hit a Specific BMI. Did not even provide cortisone shots. I called back a couple months after original office visit, in extreme pain, asking for help. His staff refused any help. Told me to take Tylenol and lose weight. Went to see Dr. Lerche at TCO for 2nd opinion and was approved for outpatient surgery immediately. I've since had the surgery and am recovering exceptionally well. I suffered untreated for 6 months, needlessly, because of Dr. Wiersema. If you are looking for medical treatment, Dr. Wiersema doesn't seem to know what that entails. Still have not heard back from him or his office and it's been six months. I have never been treated so badly by any medical provider in my life. It was total lack of care.

A fall caused a twisted fracture in right leg, Dr. W. Put rod from knee to hip & after rehab for 90 days, am able to walk pain free! Both knee & hip were replacements from 14. Yrs. & almost 2 yrs...he did a fantastic job! Am most grateful! ?? MRB, Kingsley, Mi

he did both my hip replacements & also knee arthroscopy ; all 100% excellent outcomes I'm still active & work out 3X/week , but now I swim laps at YMCA instead of running or treadmill for cardio Dr. Brent is right ; best way to minimize osteoarthritis (which I've go lots of it) is by " maintaining-strength-across-the-joint" over full-range-of-motion ; I do that with CYBEX , 3X/week too at YMCA

Dr wiersema done a wonderful job on reconstruction of my ankle,wich will make it possible for me to walk on it again,he's the reason i still have a foot,very professional and a pleasant person

Dr. Wiersema was key to me walking again. I had a major bike accident where I shattered my pelvis, broke my collar bone, had 4 broken ribs & a brain bleed, I was a challenge for any experienced doctor. After several months of rehab (land therapy & pool therapy) and nearly 100 PT sessions, I am walking again and soon my goal is to bike ride again. It would not be happening without Dr. Wiersma's expertise.
