Attentive staff and doctor. They listened to my concerns, and I feel they were genuinely invested in helping me.

I've only seen Dr. Shook once , and if not for his explanation that he was in surgery, I would not be back. I was there for 1and1/2 hours. Had a nurse come back and told me he was in surgery, I wouldn't have minded, but when she left the room she said the Dr. would be in shortly. He cam an hour later and I was never told anything until he apologized. I did like him and believe what he told me to do will help my problem.

Service was prompt, professional, personal and thorough. Dr. Shook and his assistant Caroline took great care to make the visit as fast and painless as possible.

I received excellent care during my surgery experience with Dr. Shook and his staff.

Dr and staff were friendly and professional. He patiently listened to my needs and questions and provided good excellent results for my situation.

Dr. Shook performed MOHS surgery for removal of a Squamous Cell carcinoma from the end of my nose. the procedure was done very skillfully and professionally with an excellent result. His staff is also excellent.

Had basal cell cancer removed (repeat customer), and overall a very good experience. Dr Shook is always efficient, friendly, and professional. Nurse, Caroline, was extremely efficient and accommodating. Scheduler, Charlene, was very efficient, friendly, and thorough.

Appointment started on time and everyone was polite and professional.

Dr. Shook is very professional and thorough. He explains all issues and solutions so you can understand what needs to be done.

Best Mohs surgeon in Houston. And both my husband and I have experience with alternate facilities, and Dr Shook stands out head and shoulders above the rest.

The employees were very nice. I was in and out very quickly. Dr Shook took his time explaining everything and answered all my questions. They went above and beyond helping me with my prescription. Will definitely be referring them in the future.

Exceptional! Dr. Shook & his staff are wonderful. I was well-informed, comfortable & taken care of every step of the way. As a new patient, I was initially very worried, but as soon as I got to there, I was put at ease. I HIGHLY recommend for any Dermo procedure.

Dr. Shook was very calming and made me feel very relaxed. He answered all my questions and put me totally at ease. The staff was also excellent both before and after this surgery. I would highly recommend this team of specialists.

Everyone from check in to check out is very friendly, and professional. The office has a pleasant decor and they have made sure the patient is always comfortable. Doctors and staff are knowledgeable and make sure I’m informed.

Excellent! I was lucky to be able to take an earlier appointment due to another person’s cancellation. The surgery itself was quick & painless. All staff, including Dr Shook were very friendly, helpful & gave good advice. I have recommended this office to friends & neighbors & will continue to do so.

Dr. Shook and Carolina took great care of me during my recent visit to their office. Explained everything thoroughly and made sure that I was comfortable before, during and after the procedure. Dr. Shook is not only a talented, professional doctor and surgeon, but also just an all-around good guy. His calm, personable demeanor extends to his staff as well. I have been going to Dr. Shook for over 10 years and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Quality care by Dr Shook and his team members. Always gentle, thorough, and professional. After 18+ Mohs surgeries for basal cell carcinomas I would not go anywhere else.

There are multiple locations so be sure to ask which is closer to you when you set your appointment. Love the online patient care system so you can complete the obligatory forms upfront. The office environment is pleasant and bright. Staff are quite friendly and efficient. Get to the office early so you have a better chance to get done earlier. The process is very streamlined and polished, and the Doctor has terrific and engaging personality to go with his professional credentials and skill as a surgeon. Chances are you are a referral from another area physician if you are looking into Dr. Shook. He gets referrals for a reason, he's good. I cannot recommend him, or his staff, any more strongly.
