Dr. He tell is very professional and works with you to get to the foundation of the issues plaguing you. 2 visits in and I am happy so far. Will try to update as I go along.

Dr Hextell is a great chiropractor! He is very thorough and is the only chiropractor that has been able to adjust my neck.

I went to Dr Hextell to participate in a body contour introduction advertised on Facebook that required up front payment of $69. I arrived to my appointment after being reminded daily prior via text and email for 3 days. I arrived early. My appointment was at 830am and I arrived at 815am. Upon entering the office the Dr and his receptionist were chatting and chose not to acknowledge me, look at me or speak to me, they continued with there conversation as if I was not standing there looking at them both. Eventually they stopped conversing with each other and the receptionist referred me to check in via an iPad. I noticed everyone checked on via this iPad and no cleaning was done between uses of patients...not very good infection control practices. I sat in their waiting room until 840am despite being told to be there promptly at 830am. Then the receptionist led me to be weighed and height measured - all done in the waiting room where others could see this information, then she led me to a room that was dirty & cold, sat me in a chair and told me to watch mandatory videos that I had been reminded to watch BEFORE my appointment 3 times. So I did. I told the receptionist I had followed the instructions and did not want to watch the videos again but she said, "You have to" so I sat and watched the videos again. Big waste of my time to require before and make one do it again. Then she took my vitals. I asked her if she was participating in this program or had as she was overweight..she reported she had not as she had a baby but then added the baby is 18 months old. She left and a little while later Dr. Hextell came in and took my measurements...under my clothing...in a room with him alone behind a closed door. Super uncomfortable. Plus he is setting himself up for a lawsuit by not having another person present when he is under the clothing, hands between my legs for thigh measurements without a witness. Not smart. We discussed my medical history and he then had me lay down on a small massage table that wasn't wide enough for my shoulders, it was next to a window that was cold, he had me pull my shirt up and push my pants down. (I did bring a sports bra and shorts as instructed but he chose not to have me change into them.) He put on a headset that flashed blinking lights in my eyes and spoke a meditation message while the Zerona cold laser swirled over my tummy/thighs for 40 minutes. Then the receptionist arrived and had me flip over. I was uncomfortable, exposed, cold the whole time. When the timer went off the Dr returned and said "Wasn't that the most relaxing thing ever?" I said, "No it was cold" He said, "Oh I guess we should have put the space heater on. Then he went on to try sell me his ultimate package that includes supplements and prepackaged drinks, weekly zerona treatments (despite the FDA recommended usage is every 3 days and no changes to diet, supplements or drinks) I currently follow a paleo no sugar at all diet so he had no recommendations for my diet. And I have many food allergies and the drinks had many of my allergies in them so that wouldn't work. I left planning to think on his offer for 10 sessions for $1000. I did some research into cold lasers and the cost of such a laser. I found that the Zerona laser costs $15,000 to $18,000 but there are stronger smaller lasers for consumer use in home for $400. So for Dr. Hextell to make back his cost he would need 15-18 patients to pay $1000 each and after that it's all profit. He said I lost 1.5inch in office but I measured before going to his office and after leaving and my measurements were the same. I did purchase a cold laser at home the $400 one and am using it as instructed by Zerona protocol every 3 days and now on my 3rd treatment have lost 1/2 inch where I've been treating. Finding Dr. Brent Hextell after moving to Northern Colorado and having gone to our previous chiropractor in the Denver metro area for over 30 years was like hitting the jackpot!!! We were skeptical at first. Only one of us went first. When the first one liked how he adjusted them, the rest of the family became his patients also. Dr. Hextell listens to our health concerns, provides his professional input, and performs adjustments on our bodies which make us feel years younger. In good faith I committed to a service; however, I had to cancel due to my husband losing his job and me returning to work in an attempt to avoid losing our home. I have been waiting 3 weeks for the doctor to return my calls regarding my cancellation to discuss it. At this time, I have not been able to get past his secretary and only had contact with her. She cannot give me detailed answers to my questions, cannot say when the doctor will return my 3 phone calls and cannot justify the outrageous charges for one visit. I find it odd that she asked if I could communicate through email too. I told her no, I prefer to communicate verbally and not hide behind a computer or phone. In other words I cannot recommend this office because of the lack compassion during difficult times everyone is facing with Covid, lack of professional and timely verbal communication by the doctor, who only wants to communicate through emails that puts the blame on the patient for canceling and assumes that I will duplicate his services. I did not expect a full refund because of one visit and two weeks of meals, but I did expect respect, a return call from an understanding doctor that might show compassion during these difficult times, but instead takes $700 for 1 office visit where I sat in a chair for 15 minutes and had 2-3 measurements. If you cancel your services with this office, I recommend that you do it in person with the doctor and do not expect a full refund. I have been receiving chiropractic care from Dr. Hextell for many years and would highly recommend him.

I have gone to Dr. Hextell for years. I have lower back and sciatic issues and chiropractic maintenance helps me maintain painfree. Also I rarely get sick if ever and I attribute some of that to being adjusted.

Welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I always feel confident in the care I receive from Dr. Hextell. I've been treated for chronic pain and injury from an accident, both with positive outcomes that have gotten me back to enjoying all the outdoor activities I enjoy.

Highly recommend Dr. Brent. I've been a patient on and off over the years and most recently was treated to resolve numbness in my hands affecting all aspects of my life most notably being active and exercising and sleep. Started with ortho and neuro testing and verifying it wasn't carpal tunnel that would require surgery and wasn't much they could do. It had been a number of years since I'd seen Dr. Brent so he did a full review and began a treatment regiment along with some at home exercises. All of this during the pandemic! I have been going to Dr. Hextel for many years and am always impressed with his knowledge not just of the spine, but my extremities as well. As an aerialist, I'm always moving my body in 'not normal' ways. Dr. Hextel does a great job of keeping all my limbs, joints, and spine working in tip top condition. It would be much harder to do what I do with out his care. I have been going to Dr. Hextel for many years and am always impressed with his knowledge not just of the spine, but my extremities as well. Dr. Hextell has been taking care of me and my family since 2010. Not only has he provided excellent chiropractic care, he has provided other treatments to accelerate our own ability to heal from injuries. He actually made me feel so comfortable/relaxing when I was so nervous and embarrassed of myself! He gave me good goal to improve my body and such! I will say he’s worth it! Takes time but worth it!!

The staff is very friendly, know you by your first name. Dr. Hextell does excellent work and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help.

I have been seeing Dr. Hextell since he opened his practice in Windsor. He is always personable, professional and knowledgeable about all of my issues. Last fall I began treatment with Dr. Hextell after moving to the area. I was nervous about starting with a new chiropractor. My treatment has gone better than I hoped. Dr. Hextell's technique is slightly different from my previous experience, but is also more effective. I'm so relieved to be able to resume my normal activities. I highly recommend this practice. My family's experience with Dr. Hextell and his staff has been very positive. Appointments are always handled efficiently with little or no waiting, and his chiropractic treatments have been very effective. In addition to traditional spinal manipulation, Dr. Hextell's ability to treat shoulders, knees and other joints has helped immensely with injuries and pain in these joints.
