Brendan Michael Boyle

He walked in the room and said that we shouldn’t be there. My child was referred by his pediatrician. Dr. Boyle had not even read the referral or checked my son before basically telling us to go home and implying that I take my child to lots and lots of doctors. Unfortunately for him the only other doctor my child has really seen is his pediatrician.

We have been with Dr. Boyle a little over four years now for the treatment of our daughter's Crohn's disease. Our experience with Dr. Boyle in all these years is nothing but great. Not only does he dedicate time during appointments to listen to the patient and parents, he is also concerned with the general well-being of the patient and their development over the years. Dr Boyle promptly answers all questions we come up with during the appointment, and the messages sent through patient portal as well. We highly recommend Dr. Boyle as a Gastroenterology Pediatrics specialist.

Terrible bedside manner. Dismissive and condescending. Some of these specialists don’t realize they’re not the first stop along the way to figure out what the problem is. Guy asked me why I take my kid’s temperature everyday. Really dude? I bring my kid in with chronic problems (abdominal pain, headaches, sore throat and abnormal stool sample) and all you can think of is why I frequently take my Child’s temperature (which I never said I did, I just stated he’s consistently had a low grade temp and he assumed I take my kids temperature) when he doesn’t feel well and we are in the midst of a pandemic? Should I not? I know his temp bc they’ve taken it every time I’ve gone to the doctor, walked in a building, had lab work etc and I’ve noticed it’s the same temp every time over a period of 4 months. They took it when we walked in this morning but thanks man. I’ve also been to the doc multiple times before making my way to the You, the “specialist”. So xray comes back with mild constipation but not enough for a flush ok, so maybe that’s not the prob then or am I just a paranoid mother? Does constipation cause a sore throat, abdominal pain and an abnormal stool culture? If you’re female, don’t waste your time with this one if you want to be taken seriously. Take miralax and move on is what this one will order for ya. American doctors don’t seem to practice preventative medicine nor take women seriously. What a waste of time and money. Thanks dude.

Dr. Boyle is a great doctor. I was really nervous to go to get checked out, but Dr. Boyle MD made it good. He is a nice guy, explains what everything means. I would go back to him for the rest of my life (If I could).
