I saw Brandon Erdos regularly over the course of two years both in his private practice and at Renfrew. I found his approach to be mercenary as I always had to pay him in cash and dismissive. He didn’t listen to my individual story but instead stereotyped me based on other patients he had treated. The smartest thing I did was to find another provider.

I found him to be rather dismissive and indifferent in each interaction I had with him. It was difficult for me to make the choice to see a psychiatrist. His lack of care or interest was disheartening.

Dr. Erdos is courteous, on-time, easy to reach, and provides outstanding care.

My husband is a 100% service connected disabled veteran diagnosed with PTSD from too much combat as a Marine in Vietnam. He received consistent treatment from a wonderful doctor at the VA West Roxbury. That doctor retired leaving my husband to Dr. Erdos, who after changing his medicine and basically dismissing him because he was really 'busy' and doing 'research', and in my opinion treating my husband as extra-curricular activity because it was the VA Hospital, Dr. Erdos told my husband who was guaranteed care by the US Govt, to just get his medicine from his primary care doctor and not to come anymore for visits. This has seriously damaged our family unit and Dr. Erdos is incompetent directly responsible. I have written a letter to these facts to my Congressman and the Inspector General for the Veterans Administration asking for an in depth investigation into ignoring and dismissing a patient with serious and severe diagnosed by the VA hospital in 1987 100% service connected PTSD. I am sure Dr. Erdos puts his time into his patients in Chestnut Hill where he can make a lot of money on them, but again has caused serious harm to my husband, me, and my family.

An excellent therapist. Very insightful, compassionate and thorough. Highly recommended.
