Dr. Lamm is the best surgeon Highly competent, attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. There is no other surgeon I would recommend for ankle issues.

I knew from the first visit with Dr Lamm and Dr Wren I was in the right office ! I'm a week out from surgery and aside from the nerve block I've had no pain. They have the skill and knowledge to perform above and beyond. Office staff is professional and friendly ???? my recommendation 100 %!

I love Dr. Lamm. He cares about his patients and gives the best advice on practice and surgery. I've had three surgeries with Dr. Lamm and I must say he's been absolutely awesome everytime. My 1st bilateral fixator surgery went well but my right foot didn't want to behave with the turning procedure. This surgery was very painful afterwards but the fixator has to do the job you paid for. My 2nd bilateral pin surgery was about 5 months later and again I had problems with the pins staying in the right foot. This surgery wasn't as painful as the first. Maybe six weeks later I went back for pin removal I was told everything looked good and now the healing process. I went back for my 3 month x-rays, unfortunately the stubborn right foot did as it pleased with more problems. I was scared before the 3rd surgery. I only had the bone graft and inside pin done on the right foot and a little more but less painful. I left feeling a lot better after round three than one and two. I'll refer Dr. Lamm to the entire world ????????????. Helping doing what you're paid to do. I love you and my new feet's. Thanks Dr. Lamm

Curteous, skillful, nice

Dr Lamm surgically removed the screws and plate from my ankle. He prepared me for what to expect and all things went as planned. As an 81 year old walking 3 miles per day was sometimes very uncomfortable. I’m not ready to quit walking so hopefully this will help. He answered all my questions and I found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable.

Take two, Today May 16, 2022 I had all the hardware removed and a cast put on. Every time I go to St. Mary’s it seems to be a wonderful experience! Dr Lamm and his assistant James are very thoughtful and kind in our communications, they truly care and want to give you back your health. Again I’m still in process and the jury is still out until everything is done. I was told it would be about five weeks having this cast on and then I would have to wear a special boot, then the jury will post the outcome. On another note there was a young man Peter in postoperative that I really had a blast with, if you ever have to have surgery at Saint Marys hospital look for Peter when your PAUL OSTERMANsurgery is over.

Dr. Lamm is nothing short of amazing!! Not only is he a skilled surgeon but he genuinely cares about his patients.

Saw dr. Lamm today. His staff was professional and made me extremely comfortable. Dr Lamm addressed every issue , was very clear about options and easy to talk to. i recommend him highly !

The office staff were friendly, polite and courteous. Dr. Lamm is very caring and has a wonderful bedside manner and is one of the best podiatric surgeons in the country.

Friday I had my initial meeting with Dr. Lamm. It all went quite well. He examined my foot condition and we agreed to proceed with my surgery as soon as possible. Dr. Lamm was very professional and knew exactly how to proceed. Thank you.

I have been searching for 40 years for a doctor that could fix my deformities and have been disappointed until today. Dr Lamm is kind, caring, explains everything, takes his time, extremely knowledgeable , and confident that he can fix my problem . I finally have the answer that I have been searching for.

Sent a patient termination letter with no explanation. I was scheduled for surgery and have no alternative medical care, nor will I be able to find this in the stated 30 days due to the complexity of my foot problems. I am now left with a deteriorating condition in both feet and no medical help. This appears to be retaliation for bringing up the many problems I experienced at Paley. All of the five star reviews are not legitimate and the negative ones are more than likely removed. I would give minus five stars if possible. They wasted nearly a year of my time. No compassion shown here. The administrative side of this facility is poorly run. I found multiple mistakes in my medical records, experienced problems with phone calls and emails not returned by staff. I finally gave up attempting to meet with anyone regarding numerous medical and administrative concerns. Stay away from this place, delayed treatment is denied treatment! Amanda, the practice manager at Paley, never had the courtesy to sit down with me face to face to reach a resolution, which I was willing to do. I finally gave up. They don't care about your pain. Dr Lamm is a caring, patient and totally professional surgeon whose technique is state of the art. Pain was minimal. Swelling minimal. Always accessible. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.!!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! Dr. Lamm was wonderful. Very thorough and listened to everything I had to say after I fell and injured my foot. The WHOLE office was wonderful and professional. From Jennifer who helped me on the phone, patient with me as I was in great pain, to the X-ray technician ( I forget his name), the medical assistant Angela as well as both Dr’s Lamm and Dr. James. The person who handles authorizations even helped get a walking boot approved anticipating my need for one. I work in the dental field and had taken time off of work and was prepared to wait in every area but they were as considerate in each area to minimize the time I missed from work. Had foot surgery in 3/22. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing to consult or be ready for surgery. And their new location (4/22), soo impressive. Impressive when in older location on other side of St Mary’s, but new facility on other side of St Mary’s..absolutely a no brainer. Caring, amazingly talented surgeons, Not even aware of Paley until my primary care doctor recommended them. Planning my other foot for next year. 10 stars

I broke my left foot and did not think it was that serious. Dr. Lamm explained de severity of what happened and explained my treatment options. Very assertive and concrete with a gentle manner.

After doing my research for surgery, I chose Dr Lamm based upon his reputation, innovation & expertise. But, I was more than pleasantly surprised to see evidence that he has also assembled an incredibly diligent team of professionals. The scheduling coordinator always answered the phone, had accurate information & kept me updated on insurance and scheduling. She even called me to update me on surgery time after 8 pm - and still in a cheerful mood after I know she had been working a 12 hour day! Dr Lamm & everyone who cared for me were absolutely top notch! I was treated like a person who mattered. I had pleasant conversations with several of them, who got to know me as a person & as a fellow medical professional. I’m sure they enjoyed the shared banter as much as I did. They were all efficient, but nothing felt rushed. Finally, knowing first hand about the struggles businesses have with huge turnovers in staff, this diverse team of medical staff still managed to conduct themselves

I have had many experiences and procedures performed a Paley Spine Institute. My last experience has been with Dr. Lamm, he just Preformed • Ankle joint fusion • Subtalar joint fusion • Hammer toe repair one through five • Application of multiplanar External fixation device ankle foot and toes. • among other things. All these have just been informed on March 2 so the jury is still out as to the outcome, benefit add results. Based on the professional, courteous and professional care I truly look forward to some profound recovery. Like I say I just want to dance with my wife again. I have been extremely impressed with the staff of his team as well as the team at Saint Mary’s Hospital. My only negative is to say the food at St. Mary’s was horrible! It’s amazing to me how everything else could be so outstanding until the meals come out. Setting that aside again I can’t recommend Dr. Lam more highly based on my experience so far but again surgery was just performed a few days ago. Standb

In 2019 Lamm instilled confidence and showed a good bedside manner. After the long rehab/recovery my son couldn't walk properly. Lamm then did a second surgery to add screws. After recovery, my son walked even worse and Lamm was confused and said he had no idea, even after dozens of X-rays and scans and two years of Paley care. Patient was worse off. We saw Lamm's partner David Feldman who did an even bigger surgery. The same result - months of rehab and still had pain and couldn't walk right. We left and reviewed with HSS, Duke and Dimaggio. All confirmed that Paley overcomplicated it, the screws were not put in the right position, and the original issue never healed yet no one at Paley seemed to notice. Put my son through 3 years of surgeries, pain, rehab, depression, all when a simple first surgery would have resolved it all. Great marketing. No so great results.

I’ve had ankle problems for years since college sports back in the 70s. I delt with it for years thru football wrestling hand ball racquetball finally tore up rite ankle playing too much Pickleball in my early 60s Finally got so bad i needed it have it looked at. Found out after MRI every ligament was torn in my rite ankle. After seeing 4 “ankle specialist” in florida and 2 in Chicago not one seem to have a clear plan on fixing my ankle problems. All saying its really bad with arthritis and no cartilage between ankle joint. Finally i found The Paley institutes ankle expert Dr Lamm. After sending me for MRI he instantly had a clear plan on what to do for my ankle. He gave me a full ankle replacement and while in there repaired damage i did abusing my foot for years. I am now recovering fron surgery and feel confident it will be ok. I also have found St Marys hospital and Paley institute staff are genuine fantastic caregivers going above and beyond normal customer service. I strongly recommend St Mary’s hospital The Paley institute and especially Dr lamm and his crue. I strongly feel they are the best. Dr. Lamm w/ His bedside manners that are outstanding, thorough, with explaining everything in detail & taking the time to ask if I had any questions or concerns he was a true professional, I can't say enough about Dr.Lamm & his team Dr. Dann & his medical assistants . I have had an issue for about 12 years with my foot due to a car accident. I have been to a few doctors and no one explains what the wish to do. Well they explain, but without pictures of damaged areas. They used body medical terminolgy without a visual. Other doctors made me very uncomfortable and with very little hope of fixing my injury. Dr. Lamm and Dr. James were very efficient explaining the plan for surgery and correct my injury. He came highly recommened by my surgeon Dr. Siebel. He was very knowledgeable and The Paley Institute seems very knowledgeable. They were pleasant from time I walked in to the time I was out of the building. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Lamm. Just had the surgery yesterday 2/14/22 So I want to follow up concerning the end results of this procedure once I have healed. Looking forward to the final result. Dr Lamm and his Team certainly gave me five star treatment before and after the surgery. They all were very kind and caring as well.

Dr. Lamm was recommended to correct a bad or botched surgery by another doctor from another city. I had a "standard" bunionectomy with a 3" Stryker plate inserted by a previous doctor (2017). I suffered until August of 2021. Dr. Lamm spent 3 1/2 hours correcting the previous errors and then executing the correct surgery. I spent 11 weeks with an external fixator and have been back on the golf course since New Year's weekend. I couldn't be more please with the result. I will have my left foot done next year. As for Dr. Lamm as a person... I have never had a doctor more personable! He was concerned with getting me free from pain with a correct surgery. He answered every question and was present with me for however much needed. Candidly, Dr. Lamm is good. He has every opportunity for a big ego, BUT he is so down to earth!

This was for a follow-up visit. I had triple arthrodesis, and wonderful treatment from ‘my’ team at Paley, headed by Dr. Bradley Lamm. Dr. Lamm respected my lifestyle and wishes, since I am a naturally busy and active person. I had a ‘halo’ external fixator which allowed me to walk and be mobile while healing, without putting pressure on my ankle. I am now alternating between an AirCast boot and a light brace. I could not have asked for better care or a more caring team!!!
