Bradley Elliott Chipps

Dr. Chips is the worst doctor. He is rude, races, not listen to patients. He does not care about his patients at all . His license should be taken away.

I have left 3 messages with my phone number, insurance and information. Chipps was given to me as a direct referral from my current allergist who is moving out of the area, they will not call me back. I've been trying to get in touch with them for a week and a half now. Find a more responsive physician is my suggestion.

Chipps treated my wife for 15+ years. She never got better. He refused to consider alternate diagnoses. She finally got another doctor there who had her get a CT scan (Chipps NEVER did that) and was able to give a new diagnosis and corresponding medication which made a huge difference. My wife , and our family, suffered unnecessarily for 15 years because Chipps was too arrogant and stubborn to listen to his patient and consider changing diagnoses. Chipps treated my wife for 15+years to no avail. Finally she arranged to see another doctor at the clinic- one who was more open minded amd less stubborn. She asked my wife if she had ever had a CT scan - no. In 15 years Chipps had never ordered a CT of the lungs. So she got one, revealed the actual issue (not the one Chipps and his ego had formulated in his head), changed the medication accordingly, and she has been great! Put up with severe and disabling pulmonary issues for 15 years cuz Chipps was convinced he was right and would not explore other options.

I have been going to doctor Chipps for approx 30 years, He is absolutely the greatest ,I have allergy’s , COPD and use a CPAP machine. He has pulled me out of a lot of bad situations with my health over the years, many times I have called him when I have been in another town or out of the country and ask for advice. I wish that everyone could have a Doctor like him, they would have the BEST.

Office does not provide all the necessary information prior to the first appointment. We were not informed that the first appointment was testing and did not indicate what is required. They are in it for the money. No care is considered to the patient.

Dr. Chipps has been my allergy doctor for 3 years. Because of his competent treatment, I am able to visit our daughter's family and see our grandchildren. Our other daughter asked me who I chose for an allergist and when I told her "Dr. Chipps" she said he was the best. She should know--she was a medical resident in Sacramento at the time. Dr. Chipps is nationally renowned and respected. He shares his expertise through humanitarian work in other countries. His knowledge base is phenomenal. His office staff is exceptional. I am very grateful for his practice. My health is in the best possible hands and it has improved tremendously under his care. I have had pleasant conversations with Dr. Chipps at my yearly appointments and all my questions have been answered. If you are looking for a thoroughly competent allergist, Dr. Chipps is the physician I would heartily recommend.

Love the office and how professional they are. Dr. Chipps knowledge is fantastic.

Provider was extremely rushed and affect was harassed both visits for my son. Staff appeared miserable. Lab paperwork was incomplete and when I returned and politely asked (begged) to have it completed I was chastised for not noticing prev visit. Lab results were abnormal and simply mailed with no advice or phone call. I am a healthcare provider myself. Mailing abnormal results without follow up is simply sub standard. Find another allergist

This man saved my son’s life. Period.

I went to several other allergists in the Sacramento area and went through all the skin tests both times. One told me my tests were inconclusive and the other one kept changing his mind on whether I needed shots or not. I was tired of fooling around and went to Dr. Chipps. The allergy shots have changed my life! Dr. Chipps sure knows his stuff and I love how helpful all the nurses are. The only reason I didn't give him five stars is because I have such a hard time hearing/understanding him. His voice is low and he mumbles. I either have to ask him to repeat everything or I leave the office not knowing what he told me. And you can't ever get a real person on the phone. It's another annoying voice mail maze. He's willing to prescribe whatever allergy related medicine you need. I expect to be a patient for a long time as I'm allergic to everything under the sun. Dr Chipps has been a doctor to my Son for years, and is the BEST in his field, he is just Awesome with the disabled kids, he has saved many lives, including my own Son !

I've been seeing Dr. Chipps since he came to Sacramento. Maybe 37 years ago or so. He has always gone above and beyond taking care of me. It will be a very sad day for me when he decides to retire. Christine Anderson, the FNP my daughter sees is very professional, knowledgeable and polite even dealing with my crazy self and daughter. My daughter has only seen her twice concerning her asthma and eczema but I feel comfortable going here. The medication seems to help and improve my daughter's health and that's all that matters. 10-18-16 I switched insurance companies and I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to have my daughter come here any longer. Called several times. When I got through to a live person I was switched to a phone number that never answered. This happened several times. Either he doesn't want to have more patients, or he has an overworked staff, or incompetent staff. Either way. I went someplace else.

Dr. Chipps has to be the rudest, most uncaring physician I have ever encountered. I could list many examples from the two appointments my kids had, but the bottom line is he was abrupt, rude, snapped at both of my kids, ordered thousands of dollars worth of tests that were completely unnecessary and didn't offer any medical opinion about how my kids health is or why he ordered more test and more medications. He basically took 10 seconds to listen to their lungs and toss a prescription and more lab tests at me, and told me to come back in 4 months. My kids had a great dr at Stanford who knew their history, listened to me and asked my kids how they feel, did a thorough exam and I would leave knowing what the plan was each child. My kids will not be going back to Dr. Chipps and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Dr. Chipps has to be the rudest, most uncaring physician I have ever encountered.
